I’m observing that your observing might not be as observational as my observation

Harris is no answer IMO.

Yeah real close Warnie.

Mentioned a few posts back that Harris mightn’t be the long term saviour or solution but he’s a far better option than what we currently have in Burns.

Burns averaged just over 6 in Shield this year. Harris 110. Both against similar / same attacks.

I’d take 30 runs per innings from Harris than two overs of sad comedy from Burns. Joe is just cooked.

Do India get a refresh of “reviews” with the new ball?

My thought is they do but don’t understand the logic of rewarding the bowling side for the inability to dismiss the batting team..

When DRS pauses upon impact to the pad, it looks convincing, then ball tracker had it flying off to the moon.

Yup, thought that as well.

But the side angle Paddy was well down from the crease, and this deck has some bounce. Other than the delivery Wade got

Wouldn’t have either in, problem is the cupboard is pretty bare with Warner out. If Puckoffski is right to play I’d have him straight in.

The bounce off the spinners is far more pronounced than the quicks. They almost need to bowl a half volley to hit the stumps apart from a flipper-type ball. People lost their minds about the Labuschagne decision / review in the first innings but the ball hit the keeper above the stumps.

To me the DRS is ok enough on the spinners.. I just don’t agree with the arc-down off the quicks (after the ball hits the pitch) it shows.
