The 93/4 pace attack of Murphy Sua,Simon Doull and the All-time great Danny Morrison would of offered far more than this................................. Now lol.

Say what you want about the pitch but that's as dominant a day one batting performance as you'll see from an Australian side.

Bit of a shame that we wont see much of a contest til we play over in NZ in February.

Not to mention the great Richard de Groen as well for a four pronged pace attack!

Really impressive knock from Warner. Knuckled down betweeen 100-200. Great performance.

Real shame though, was hoping to see a challenge from the kiwi's. Likeable side and have a bowling attack that has done well most places - but so far not here. Day would've been a bit different if Khawaja hadn't been very fortunate to be given now out when he was out, and if Warner had been given on 80 odd, but the ease with which Australia rotated the strike was pretty concerning. Bracewell at least showed and up Southee looked dangerous at times. The rest were shit. I don't think luck has been on their side (just a dif result with the toss can change things) but I think it should send a message about making sure to prepare well before a test series overseas. They haven't prepared well enough.

Pitch isn't doing much, if Warner keeps his head he could get 400 the way he is playing.
