We should definitely be attacking more. Brownlie did it yesterday, Clarke has been mildly aggressive and Warner was also looking to score.

Khawaja attempted to block everything and eventually let the pressure build like McCullum and Williamson yesterday and ditto Hughes out to a ball he wouldn't be blocking if the pitch wasn't green.

Lots of wickets falling because the pitch got in to batsman's minds. Guptill acting like the pitch spat a wicked one at him when it was poor batting.

As I speak Hussey is smashing a ball for four then gloving one behind.

The combination of the pitch and his uncertain place in the team really got Khawaja into a bogged down mindset.

Clarke is forcing the bowling to change their length and take the pitch out of the equation. All bar Warner for us have been dismissed with defensive actions

I don't know Brownlie can be compared to Khawaja when Brownlie had a strike rate of 70 or 80.

Agreed, bowling attack is fine.

Yeah Clarkes looking the goods under pressure for a change. Yeah attacking the readable bowls. Clarke has the experience using softer hands.
