No third time lucky for Lyon. Kiwis bowled very well, but my god there were some terrible shots from our top order. Warner deserved a win with that knock but sadly there was just no one to support him. Great match, Warner and Bracewell fantastic

100% agreed. Not taking anything away from NZ because Bracewell was outstanding, but the number of soft dismissals in the Australian batting lineup over the last two years or so is something that has become unbearable.

there are many what if's... what if Ryder hat got the correct decision, what if we used the review on Hughes, what if Southee had a brain...

Great test... both teams are limited, and poor in some areas, but the performances by Bracewell, Warner, Pattinson, Lyon, Boult etc all suggest better things to come

Siddle is shit, but it's hard to blame him given everything else that went on. Just goes to show how the little things like a few bad balls, or a poor shot (or in out case, eleven poor shots), can decide a test match.

The Kiwis bowled superbly today but wow some of the shot selection from the Aussies batsmen was dreadful. Warner deserves huge credit for his innings. Absolutely brilliant from him. Lyon did his best but was undone by good bowling. Hopefully this gets some interest in cricket over the ditch so they can build a quality test side.

Heads must roll after that test match, I just wonder who it will be.

Now that Australian cricket has reached the lowest of lows (I mean lets be realistic we have just been beaten by a very average cricket team) surely the selectors will now wake up and realise that our batting is shite and needs changes.
