Speaking of the world cup....we made it further in the tournament than the canary yellow brigade so I guess that makes us better at cricket huh?

LOL let it go dawg, its over.

I am stunned and embarrassed by the collapse. With respect to the Kiwis they are not a team we should lose to.

With respect to Austraya, they are now a team we should be competing with...

There is nothing in your lineup that anyone fears any more... welcome to the 2nd tier chaps... if only we'd have played decently in Brisbane

Chappell was happy to wank over 8 runs Ponting scored on the final day in Jo-Burg which he claimed was the difference between us winning and losing, I wonder what his thoughts are on Shittle's bowling to the NZ lower order which was in the end the difference between us winning and losing

It's cute you think that, but I'm not sure that's quite the case (despite my joke comment, lol)

I think we're pretty ok at sport.

We hold 2 rugby related world cups.
Our basketball club won the Australian basketball comp.
And you can pretty much say we're better at cricket (overall) now too.

That's the thing isn't it. Outside of Khan, probably some question marks over their pacemen especially. Might not matter who they bring over anyway, taking on a side who has somehow crept to a new low..didn't think it was possible

yep, your batting doesn't inspire any more confidence than ours...

Well played Kiwi's Bracewell was outstanding today and stiff not to get MOM. Shittle shouldn't get the blame but his last two overs of shit against the tail when trying once again to be an intimidator shows he still hasn't learn't a thing. Feel for Warner and Lyon two players that can hold their heads up high. Pontings terrible shot started the slide, we are supposely keeping him in the side for his experience but WTF was that??? Hussey got a good ball but gee whiz these two and Hughes should be under massive pressure.

I think westie rat Hughes' drop of taylor was far more costly

Reality is we are an average side now and are crippled by injuries. I really hope Bollinger fires in the Charimans XI game so he can get picked for the boxing day test.

probably agree - but you're not that good at the moment, to be fair

This Aussie side sort of reminds me of the Wallabies a little bit.. terrific at times but just aren't consistent enough. The WRC semi was a prime example of the hardened pros outlasting the young, mainly inexperienced kids.

You've been beaten by a very average cricket team, because you too are a very average cricket team...

NZ played very poorly in Brisbane, where we should have held our own too.. welcome to our level, even if the skill level's not so high, the cricket can be exciting :D

I dont think we are average, we just drew with RSA in South Africa and that was a decent result for us

too many players out with injuries to be anywhere near our best, something like 4 or 5 players unavailable

its just a shame we have to watch this pyjama game for the next few weeks till Boxing Day test starts as I really enjoyed this game despite loosing

I think this MOM award being voted by the fans blows, they are always going to be bias

Bacewell should have got MOM
