Good 50 to the skipper. That forearm smash down the ground Smiffy played as I was heading out the door at home was awesome.

Sensational series win.

NZ definitely not at their best, they are a very good side as well.

Terrific career for McCullum, a great leader and one of the most brutal hitters the game has seen. Gutsy and always put in, no matter what.

Fair comments - we weren't at our best, sure, but Australia dominated them - really there was only yesterday and day 1 where we matched them - Australia were very good, no excuses better team won this series

Great fighting win by us, the Kiwis made us earn this one but we came through in the end.

Well done to Joey Burns hopefully those two fine knocks keep the knockers off his back for a while.

The kiwis threw plenty at Australia this game but they just kept their cool and outclassed them.

The kiwi commentators (and 1 or 2 posters..) were wetting themselves and adamant Smith was doomed when he inside edged a ball onto his stumps in the first ODI lol

.

Outplayed yes... reality check for NZ, a few down on form and thoroughly outplayed at home, which is disappointing
