3. Finucane - gave everything - he looked like a gladiator by the end of it.

2. Kennedy - first 2 games have been WAY better than last year’s efforts.

1. Trindall - fantastic effort playing his natural position.

HM - Nikora, Mulitalo

Uppercut - Ramien - so much skill, but do many errors!

Frenzy.

In no order and in brief

Hunt - brought the impact and go forward when needed which was a huge contributor to our momentum swing. And he only played 14 minutes
Trindall was very steady, dead eye dick with the goal shots, which was the eventual difference in 5/5 tries each game. His general kicking game was good and great to see he seems to have been working on a "floater'. He is a really good tackler for a half.
Bubba jnr. Was in the right place at the right times in context of backing up. Rated too high in the negative stats though with 4 missed tackles and a couple of errors. Slapped Moses and that practically gives him MOTM
Katoa: 3 errors. He has that in him though. Was impressed, yet concerned, at how he took on big Mica and he did his runs enthuisastically.
Moylan. Much better versus the Squeals. Ball work was better, More kicking and some good ones. Only missed 1 tackle this week and that was because Wilton was better next to him.
Wilton: Will take time to get used to the babysitting role he has inherited. Looking after Moyza. Was better at it last night which reflected on Moylan and the whole left side defence being more cohesive. I feel his defensive work last night dulled the blade on his attack though. It's balance. He'll be right by the time the side hits peak fitness.
NIkora. I'm liking that he has introduced straight, hard, flat hitups into his game while still having the line running down pat. Didn't miss a tackle, made 39 and some of them were hurtful.
Finucane. Captains knock. Consistent. Hard. Nothing special in terms of excelling at any basics. Noticeable to me is how slow he is to react and move sideways playing in the middle.
Ramien: Bad Jessie came to town last night. Without his 6 shooters. If the weight loss and body shape change was for speed we didn't see it on the break he made.
Rudolf: Was Rudolf. Usual pattern, good stuff, bad stuff, good stuff, bad stuff. Probably more good than bad. Unless you give more points to the bad for where it happens.
McInnes: Needs work on his ball carry. It's really loose and if wants to play like a 120 battering ram, not the 90 kilo benchie he is he has to get around the ball better. 2 weeks in a row getting it knocked out in the act of scoring isn't good. Made his usual million tackles
Brailey: Placeholder. Scores well in SuperCoach.
Hamlin-Uele. His biggest advantage to the team is he has the quickest PTB, especially in momentum swings our way. Think he was under 3 seconds last night. Like Dale he was a slug in the middle.
Kaufusi: Didn't really bring much last night. Just did a job. Really slow PTBs.
Tracey: Wore the splinters well.
Talakai: I reckon he's playing hurt again. Only made 8 tackles and missed three. Busted hand? Use as a battering ram for mine. Had that one glimpse of being last years Sifa for his part in WKs 3rd try. OK without being outstanding
Ronnie: Much more measured and it actually made him better. HIs bullshit is entertaining but I reckon it affects his concentration/focus. Love his hops. Missed a chance to kick Michelle Moses in the head while the little girl held his sock after trying to twist his injured knee. Yes Michelle I saw that you whinging, whining, sooky little girl.

3 - WK, 3 tries. The show and go was class. Good support play off Moylan and a class finish off Ronnie's intercept. Looks stronger and made a couple of good defensive stops.
2 - Trindall, assured display. Impressed with his composure. Good general kicking game. Goal kicking was the difference. Most impressive was his defence. Saved at least 2 tries with last ditch tackles in the second half. First one, Sivo cut inside brushed past Kennedy, Trindall got underneath him, lifted and drove giving Nikora time to complete the tackle on the line. Second one was the second last play of the game, trindall slides and gets a good shot on that jolts the ball free for Jesse to pick up, run and have the last of his many brain fades.
1 - Nikora, class game. Did everything with purpose and impact. Perfect timing for his try. Hit hard and often.

Glad you kept it brief

Nikora should have got 2pts
He also made a heads up play missed by most, Sivo does knock on 55seconds before half time, it's Nikora yelling at players to pack scrum.
He got us that last set of 6 nothing come of it this time, but it shows he is growing as a leader.
80 min player as captain options is now probably 4th. Dale/Wade/Nico

I’m still getting over that last play from Jesse.... why the f**k would you go anywhere near the sideline when you’re in possession with 30 seconds to play.
