take the two best bats from any nation and depth is crap

where is india without Pujara and Kholi?
Straya's problem is Smith is the only player that has been able to make tough runs, for a few years. The rest are downhill skiing flat track limited overs loggers, and Davey is the king of them.

I get the desire to persevere with Head but his dismissals have been atrocious

The depth has never been crap before so that's on CA. The suspensions were too severe but good on Straya for holding themselves to a higher standard

Their other problem is breeding and glorifying slog mercenaries on the side, Chris Lynn one of the worst of them.

They don’t have a game or attention span longer than five overs, and in the process chew up the depth and potential of others.

f**k this rain.
Patty and The GOAT have got these bastards right where they want them, and the weather threatens to ruin it for everyone.
I'd rather the insurance policy of the rain than to roll the dice for a win when we are 8 down. Rain is good news for Australia without a doubt.

Im a Qlder yet recognize that Lynn is as overrated as hell. Would never pick him in anything but a 20/20 side.

India has twice our depth in batting.
Better than Marshes. Hell even Hodge would be better.

Point being it has never been so bad, I remember so many great players like Lehmann, M Waugh, Hussey, Hayden playing so much shield cause they could not get a run. Hell ask any VFL fan how Hodge missed out.

Now we bat blokes who average 25 @ 4, because 2 blokes are out.

Hey probably still have the best Bowling attack, where are all the young blokes, is no one scoring runs, are kids no longer playing?

I have no statistics on it but I'd wager that junior participation would be dropping by the year. Schools have dropped it from their school sport roster because no kids want to play the game.

I've got two words for ya:

Matthew.

Renshaw.

He has proved his ability, at Test level, to grind out tough runs.

He's a natural Test opener, but the selectors prefer Bancroft and Harris.

And Finch.

f**k Cricket Australia.

But hey - at least the Mashed brothers, Potato, and Spud, will remain in the team until they retire...

Shaun I can tentatively understand; he has an uncanny ability to pull a fine innings out of his arse and win a match, which has essentially kept his career alive.

But Mitch, f**k me.
