so why did the ump try to say the bat hit the pad?

I'm happy with the decision though, there was a noise though and the bat was no where near his leg lol

I am not a massive wrap on Peter Siddle, never have been, but anyone who thinks that he has been anything other than Australia's only dangerous bowler in this Test is laughably biased against him.

A bowling attack of Bollinger, Copeland and Clark would have skittled the poms for 75 I reckon.
