Boland for Hazlewood is a given

Head was limping a bit end of 3rd test, some concerns there

Webster, Konstas in the convo for inclusion ?

Skull backs Jack Edwards 😁

Boland in for Haze is a given

Konstas for Head if he's not fit, but they will probably pick Bancroft or Renshaw cuz that's how our selectors think.

and I'm done with Marsh, Webster in

Can't afford to lose him with the rest of our batting line up the way they are.
I can see them only changing Boland for Hazlewood (forced)

But I'd love to a couple more changes too

don't see any unforced changes in this game. If Australia win I would expect the same team in Sydney too unless someone decides to retire

actually if Mitch can't bowl then he should be swapped out. Selectors can use the excuse that they need the 4th seamer at the MCG

Was thinking Kwaja might retire - though he would probably like to play in Sydney
I think a lot of these guys have their eye on the Ashes

Id back him for the year. Bring in Konstas for Marsh and drop McDud down, really give him a chance to prove he's not good enough. Because he's not.
Labs, Smith and Head offer enough of a 5th bowling option. Green is the only all-rounder in Australia good enough to bat in this current fragile line-up

agree, if an all rounder cant bowl, then he shouldn't be selected as an all rounder and MMarsh is not good enough to be selected as a batsmen

Oozie said before the series started that he has no intention of retiring any time soon as he is batting well and enjoying his cricket

It would be classic of our selectors to keep underperforming old players and scapegoat a guy three tests in to a role he's never played before.

McSweeney will be like Trav. Give him the time and he'll succeed. Different style obvs, but any new players take time to settle because the Shield is barely better than grade cricket so it's a huge step up.

Would like to see him at 3 or 4 though. Marnus needs to go away for a bit and Marsh is cooked, but not sure major changes are needed with the series in the balance

You called it... SMH reporting McSweeney will be dropped for the next Test.... Marnus, Usman and the Bison will still pad up though....

he hasn't been any worse than others and he's done better than Manus

I wonder if they are just looking for a scapegoat so they can get Konstas in
