Decision to bat on was bizzare. Max 84 overs at India now?

India are knicking off but they keep falling short.
92. But

your point still stands, to win this we had to give India a carrot to chase this. They will take the draw and back themselves to win on a dry Sydney deck that favours them.

So if we declared at stumps it was 96 overs. The extra 6 we scored off 9 deliveries has cost us 24 balls. 12 of which were just because we didn’t declare?

Vaughan is wondering if it wouldn't be a bad idea to get Mitch Marsh bowling, and he gets paid for his opinion....

This will be Mitch Marsh's last test. So extract everything you can out of the bloke.

He will bowl and needs to hit the deck hard.

When was the last time he hit the deck hard??

he an Rohit seem to hit the buffet hard…

Tell him he has to because he will never get a chance to do this again.

I'll be baffled if he plays at Sydney. Outside his poor batting we need extra bowling at the SCG as our pace attack will be battered. Dropping him for Webster is the easiest decision of the series.
