Luke Stuart is a 6. Solid player but nothing special

Roy over the last 2 years is an 5 @ best, his been dreadful when not injured.

so you think cross is better than asotasi? :lol:

Luke stuart played for city last year, guess that makes him special doesnt it?

8. Shillington - 9 (Kangaroo, could probably give him 10 tbh)
9. Tongue - 5 (As a hooker - as a lock he'd be 7-8)
10. Tilse - 7 (Improving)
11. Harrison - 9 (Kiwi rep, best off loading forward in the world)
12. Learoyd-Lahrs - 9 (Powerhouse NSW rep, will play for Roos this year if fit)
13. Miller - 7 (tough as nails)

46 IMHO.

Thank you, I LOL'd

I think everyone is getting a little too excited over souffs

Asotasi hasn't had a great game in 2 years (i rate Stuart higher)

Taylor is still raw and needs a lot more good games under his belt

Burgess...hmmm i dont think we can mark him yet, doubt he will be a world beater. If he is as good as Ellis was las year i will be a little surprised

Its a good pack, but i think everyone is getting a little too excited too early

9. Fien - 6
10. Prior - 6
11. Creagh - 8
12. Smith - 8 (before injury, not so sure this year)
13. Young - 5

Total - 41.5

So many unknowns in our pack this year, Scott may move back to 2nd row, Greenfield has bucketloads of potential, Hunt could step up etc etc.

I cant believe Tigers fans rate Heighington so low, everytime i have seen him he has been one of your best on field

He is a stats player. He has no real impact. I haven't seen him bust a tackle in 3 years. He makes 22 5 metres hit ups per game by running at the markers and shoving them back a few steps.

Sure is, you over-rate your players ;-).

8. Dan Hunt -- 6 .. on the rise
9. Nathan Fien -- 6 .. probably falling
10. Michael Weyman -- 8 .. on the rise
11. Matt Prior -- 6 .. on the rise
12. Ben Creagh -- 8.5 to 9
13. Jeremy Smith -- 8

14. Dean Young -- 3 as a hooker, 7 as a backrower
15. Neville Costigan -- 7
16. Michael Greenfield -- 4 given he hasn't played, could be 7 by end of season
17. Jarrod Saffy -- 5.5

Current total: 43 + 19.5-23.5 (depending on what position Young plays) = 62.5 - 66.5

We have a lot of extra depth though .. some solid enough First Graders like Green, Thorby and a couple of others and some super-exciting potential in Merrin, Hancock, Marketo (these three most notably).

Player for player we don't have the best pack, but when they play together as a group they are a lot better than the sum of their parts.

Inspired from the playmaker thread, just rate your team's forwards individually out of ten.

Manly
8. King - 6
9. Ballin - 6
10. Kite - 7
11. Watmough - 9
12. Bailey - 6
13. Stewart - 8

Total - 32

:crazy:
way off and how does that = 32?

Manly:
king = 7.5
ballin = 7.5
perry = 7
watmough = 9
gulavou/t-rex/kite/bailey/rodney = 6.5
