You have to admit that the Roosters Foghorn Leghorn bit makes up for SD quality. f**k 9, right in the face.

The Nine Network has won approval to show NRL premiership games on its digital multichannels.

Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull approved the move this week following a request by the broadcaster.

Under the so-called anti-siphoning scheme, free-to-air broadcasters are prevented from televising matches on the anti-siphoning list – which prior to the minister’s decision included all matches of the 2014 National Rugby League Premiership – first, or exclusively, on their digital multichannels.

Nine asked the minister to consider removing this season’s league matches to enable it and its affiliates to provide live or improved coverage of rounds one to 26 in all markets across Australia.

The network sought permission particularly in relation to the “non-NRL” markets of Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania and parts of remote central Australia.

F*ck Nine!

I tried to watch the game on the app and because I'm in Brisbane I can't access it because we have it on a one hour delay so I'm not going to be put through SD shit.

Radio it is

I can barely tell the difference unless an SD and HD tv are next to each other. The very height of '1st world problems'.

The hair cut is f*cking atrocious. He looks like a wanker on the football field surrounded by his wankerbros. Imagine seeing that in public. Cross the street kind of stuff.

maybe o/t but the coverage was brilliant last night especially that camera in the sky, theyve really worked out how to use that effectively

and some of the elevated shots during play

at least with more games at anz they will get better tv coverage
