Ignores the fact that memberships for 13/16 clubs have improved. Most have gone up 50%. Some clubs, Roosters and Souths most prominently, have more than doubled memberships from last year. That would be 3000 to 6000 from last year, and will improve again. But I suppose these were fudged as well...

As for figure fudging. Scientific fact that clubs fudge figures. The always reliable Telegraph proved it when they counted heads with 5 people checking 6 gates. Oh wait....

The traditional clubs who were "cheated" aren't in the NRL, but the NRL is still there, as is the game. The game survived Annandale, Adelaide, University, Hunter, Newtown, Norths etc all being punted.

So based on your comment, Rugby League should have died when Glebe, Annadale and University were given the flick. Same with Newtown, Norths etc.
