Bennetts teams are far more boring imo. Storm games get broing because they slow it down so much by wrestling and standing offside all game, they are ok to watch with the ball.
Well this year yes but last year the Broncos were explosive and quick, took risks etc.
You don't really see that with the Storm imo.
That's why if you stifle their game plan early they are stuffed.

Last year seems more like an exception than the norm though. First year coaching them Id say he hadn't fully implanted his dour style yet, we saw it in the GF though. Remember his Dragons teams? It was boring as shit to watch them despite how good they are. Melbourne have perfected their clinical style of attack so I do appreciate It when I watch.

Exactly, they were terribly boring, no risk attacking football. The storm can be like that for long periods but when they sense its on their attack can be quite lethal and great to watch.

The roosters were boring.

Well, only if you think racing out to an early lead through blistering attacking footy then plodding for the next 65 minutes through poor discipline, impatience, and butterfingers is boring. Sounds like 10/10 exciting Topball to me

I didn't watch enough to actually know if you were boring or not. I had some gun comment in mind when I quoted you and then realised it was shit so I settled with you were boring and hoped it wasn't to far off the mark.

Dont stress Aus_Dog, umina panthers is a coastie dropkick who barely even watches footy. Gets majority of his opinions from Paul Kent and Phil Rothfield

Coastie dropkick? I take offence to that. What are you like the only Roosters fan that actually lives in the eastern suburbs? Connor Watson is a coastie dropkick.

Congrats on your taking offence, I hope it was fulfilling for you. Sadly though I'll need you to give it back as I wanted to keep it especially for @umina panther .

I'm sure glad that my team has a 55% completion rate and came 15th! Rather that than be BORING

Well the Roosters had a 55% completion rate plus they played pretty boring structured footy. Thats a fatal combo.

If you can't complete sets on drop and go football then go home.

Lol@comparing the 2010 saints to these grubs. That 10' side was clinical and defended brilliantly, without the need for grapples, attempted arm breaking and all the other typical Bellamy inspired shit

Crikey you're becoming sour ol' mate . . . pity we couldn't clone a Bellamy for Kogarah

The league would be more boring if every team threw it around and dropped it all the time, it is good to have clashes of different styles of play.

I agree with this.

It would be good if there were several teams playing Craig Bellamy 'ruck-f**k' ball and a bunch of other teams playing Duncan Thompson 'contract football' (ALWAYS pass to the guy in a better position to you).

The problem seems to be that the rules and the referee's favour ruck-f**k so much.

The 2010 side were very effective at slowing the ruck down. Ben Creagh would just lie there looking at the ref until he told him to get off.

Cheeky but effective, and no less boring than how the Storm do it.

And who do you think should have gotten those 3 or 4 top players, maybe one each to the 3 or 4 bottom teams who refuse to look for good coaching staff and would be f**ked with or without them . . . or more likely they'd all go to the Broncos, maybe Roosters, Seagles even . . . clubs that know how to hide discrepencies

Blokes like you must have 2 dicks, if you whinge about a team keeping players it deserves to keep imagine what you'd come up with if Melbourne's 'Biggies' kept Lockyer company all on 250k

Whether they deserve to keep them after having developed them is another argument. They systematically broke the rules to keep them and it can be easily argued are continuing to reap the reward.

The fact is other clubs in the competition lose talented players due to the salary cap. If teams break the integrity of that to the degree of the Storm they should be hammered with punishments.
