Didn't expect you to Macca. Just a Kramer moment.

And the Cheques score again to give me some money:D . I'll have to learn how to spell their name soon. Your man as well, what is he for the golden boot?

Well done guys....

I've read the whole thread and it has plenty of funny sh*t in it.

Great result for you guys, and it even had a me (a kiwi) with the hair standing to attention at the back of the neck!

Hardly surprising stuff from Australians though! Well done again.

What a great result. Still lots of work to do, but great to have a win like that to take home regardless of next two results.

Viduka was great

Wilshire can't stay.

Chipperfield's touch was also poor.

Lucas Neill at the back did a stella job.

Emerton is a shadow of his former self.

Would prefer Kewell out wide, but who can argue with Guus.

Our super subs were great as well. Kennedy & Aloisi and of course Cahill.

Well worth the 32 year wait.

Is it just me or do Wilkshire and Emerton seem simply out of their depth?

I was very impressed with Kennedy, you could feel the lift when he came on and the same can be said for Cahill and Aloisi.

I'd say the ref saw, but he was squaring up after the terrible decision regarding Japan's goal.

Both Wilkshire and Emerton where playing out of position which is what you saw. Craig Foster was spot on when he said that Emerton has never played central midfield in his life.

Wilkshire has no position whatsoever! He is s..t! Adds NOTHING to the team!

Honestly Locky you wouldn't have much left in life if you couldn't find a new obessesion to start a f**k off foundation. Its getting quite tedious.

Anyone who knows something about the game will tell you Wilkshire didn't play to bad at all last night, and forced to play completely out of position. He was rubbish against Holland granted, but he was given a role to play last night and he was solid, didn't let anyone down and tracked the japanese midfield better than most.

One of the commentators mentioned it that Hiddink had obviously decided an unfit kewell and Cahill in the starting team was too big a risk. Japan are reknowned for being supremely fit and a fast breaking team. You could not afford to have 2 players out of puff in 35 degrees.

I personally wouldn't have Wilkshire in a fully fit first 11 but he did the job that was requested of him. Alex got around him maybe once or twice which is not bad considering Wilshire doesn't play right mid. And whats more he gives it all and tackles very hard. I can just see Hiddink thinking the Japanese want to whinge about how hard we play well you aint seen nothing yet.

Seriously if you want to slam any Aussie player give it to Schwarzer. The guy was terrible last night, looked very nervous and out of depth. Shove or no shove, Schwarzer was miles away from the flight of the ball. If you want to see what Hiddink sees in Kalac it is right there last night. Schwarzer plays in lead boots and is terrible coming off his line. He is an awesome shot stopper but he is a nightmare on corners and crosses.

I accept that but to be honest whenever those two had the ball at their feet the next recipient of the ball was generally wearing blue.

Still, I can't criticise their effort, they ran all day.
