Its looking good. One award is already taken with the Cougars taking the most improved team. There's still time for Post of The Year before I put them up for a poll.

The BP Award winners will be announced on the night as LN, the resident BP Points tally taker, took them behind closed doors.

In keeping with the past couple of awards shows, it will be opened with another epic song. 2006 saw Wont Get Fooled Again by The Who, 2007 saw Enter Sandman by Metallica, 2008 will bring about another.

Aaaaah, those were the days - songs that took the whole side of an album - Ina-gada-da-vida (Iron Butterfly), Green Grass & High Tide (The Outlaws), Grapevine (CCR), The Real Thing (Russell Morris)... if you can remember it then you weren't there.

How about Jimmy Page at the Beijing Olympics? Didn't look a day over 70.
