Super Dry tastes soooooooooo much different in stubbys to what it does on tap

you'd think you were drinking some other type of beer

absolutely. It's in a completely different league. Just costs me a shitload more at Panthers  worth it though.

after a reccy tour of north america i have found the following

-majority of american beer is rubbish, espicially anything brewed in NY. Do not go anywhere near Blue Moon or Brooklyn Lager
- Canadian beer shits all over it and steam whistle, molson and Kokanee go good (warning though, due to the high mineral content of the glacier water used to brew kokanee it may give you the squirts, didn;t happen to me but a few on our tour had this problem and took us awhile to figure out the source)

Just been in NZ. Monteiths still a top drop. Monteiths black quite good as well.

Also had
- Boundary Road Lawn Ranger - Raddler beer, not bad but not really my favourite type of beer
- Boundary Road Chocolate Moose - chocolate porter, pretty damn nice I thought, really good aftertaste
Another pale ale which I cant remember the name of was pretty good also

Have a Moa 5 Hops beer to try as well

Macs Sassy is also excellent.

Not a beer, but I got a case of Magners 440ml cans for 40 bucks. Why wouldn't you?

Tried the Balmain Pale Ale the other day, really good drink, and not bad value for $14 a 4 pack.

Unfortunately I'm on a very tight budget now. So beer tonight is Henninger, Hooter, and Bavaria.

For the extra few bob you should have got Konig Pilsener. IIRC it's like two bucks extra a six pack and doesn't taste like what a German man pisses out the day after Oktoberfest

Tried the Moo Brew Pale Ale today...damn good stuff, slightly different style with a bit more bitterness and a bit lighter. Sweet bottles too :p

I've probably said it before, but find the Lashes is more of a session pale ale than some of the other mainstream ones you find on tap. It's better than Coopers but not as good as Fat Yak. I can drink a thousand of them because it's not too bitter or overly hoppy
