I saw that Benny Mitchell crossing the road when the red man was up at the lights. It was back in January but I recognized his running style on the news. I said theres Mr Run When You Shouldn't
My 10 y.o son was with me and now thinks you cross on red and stay on green.

I saw Mr Loudmouth eating a meal at a resturant in 2008. He was using the dessert spoon when eating his pea and ham soup. This bloke's meant to be a role model, since that day my 4 year old niece and 6 year old daughter have been traumatized and unable to eat anything other than finger food.

Andrew Webster is a disgrace for reporting this sh*t in the paper today.

A baseless story like that does not deserve the time of day.

But it's typical of the media who go on a digging rampage just to keep a story going.

players should refuse to talk to Webster. SMH and even Weidler reported the whole story

Benji Marshall accused of rude behaviour
GREG PRICHARD

The National Rugby League has investigated a complaint from a woman who alleged the game's No. 1 player, Benji Marshall, was the ''chief offender'' among a group of players she says behaved poorly on a flight from Brisbane to Sydney last month.

Sydney-based players who had taken part in the All Stars game on the Gold Coast the night before were on board Qantas flight 529 on Sunday, February 13, which also included Jennifer Robinson and her daughter.

Mrs Robinson, in an email sent to the NRL and selected media outlets late on Thursday, said she and her daughter were ''offended by the language and behaviour of a large group of football players''.

She said she had not complained until now because she was not aware of Marshall's identity until she saw recent photographs of him in the media.

Mrs Robinson alleged Marshall, the only player she identified in the email, and other players were ''swearing loudly'', and Marshall made lewd remarks about women. She said the remarks were easily heard four or five rows away.

The Sydney Morning Herald yesterday contacted Qantas to establish whether there had been any complaints made during or after the flight. A spokesman replied: ''There were no complaints about misconduct made to us by any of the passengers, or crew.''

Mrs Robinson spoke to the SMH night from Geneva. ''I wouldn't want him [Marshall] to lose his job, but he has got a responsibility,'' Mrs Robinson said. ''He should be held accountable, and maybe make an apology.''

The NRL chief executive, David Gallop, said the league had contacted other players on the flight, who were ''unaware of anyone having been upset''. He pointed out the lack of complaints from other passengers and said ''there are no suggestions of improper language being directed at anyone''.

Oh Ive heard enough.

I mean this is ridiculous, how can you possibly believe a woman after a month later and didnt even know who Benji Marshall was. FFS.

When will these media people get a life, I mean we've had complaints about hand signals in the NRL posters, and now this.

Please, if I was David Gallop I was just let it go the keeper.

Maybe we should put in a complaint of an incident that took place involving Danny Weidler and Andrew Webster at Maccas.

Wests Tigers five-eighth Benji Marshall cleared of assault

BENJI Marshall has just been cleared of assault.

Magistrate Carolyn Barkell said the issue in the case was whether the contact made by Marshall towards Naimey was what caused him actual bodily harm.

She noted that due to Marshall's public profile, "he is recognised often, asked for autograph and photos and is also often taunted".

"There is no doubt that the accused responded to a taunt from Soliman Naimey, stopped crossing Bridge St and went back to confront him," she said.

"[But] I must have...doubt as to whether it caused actual bodily harm."
