How many last chances/warnings do some players get? Surely after the last 5 years this wouldn't be the first.
Sorry, but while Cappy might not be the answer, changing coach is not the magic fix some are hoping it will be. The coach may go, but there are some players who absolutely have to f**k off with him.
I agree with that, I'm not advocating axing the coach and leaving everything as is.
For a start, Konrad can go now. Hes offering nothing to the environment. I'd also walk Manu. I've been a massive fan of his over many years but his best form is behind him, he is not a positive leader for these guys anymore and he's doing dumb shit like this, the movie post and other silly social media crap that provides a bad influence.
But can people not understand how frustrating it must be for Matulino and others that management has provided them with bum coach after bum coach? This guy could (and has at times) been the best prop in th world. 5 years he's operated under dud coaches who can't get the best out of him. I don't like that he's not a leader but we cannot afford to lose him.
And it's BS to suggest there was player unrest under Ivan. You don't make a GF under a departing coach if you don't respect him greatly. People forget how great an achievement that was. Those guys played for him week in, week out under a strong game plan. Then Wayne Scurrah set us back 10 years, and Jim Doyle needs to fix it quick smart.
