The Dugan is a gentleman and a scholar. I won't hear a bad word said against him. Also, the Dragons desperately need a decent centre. If you wouldn't mind thanks Canbraaa?
Why don't the Dragons put in a bid to merge with Canberra, would save all their players the drama of having to relocate.

2012 HSC Question Multiple choice...

Josh Dugan and Blake Ferguson go to a pub to drink, what happens next ?

a) Both get pissed and urinate on the floor
b) both have a glass of wine and discuss world politics
c) both end up on the roof drinking, go on twitter give everyone the finger
d) both get drunk and start a fight

If the accusations are correct .. he will be suspended for a while....

Raiders gave Todd Carney, Dugan and now fergo 100 chances and cover up many times.

thats the problem.... they keep giving them chances instead of sacking them after a few

how are all the other players going to behave when there is no line drawn

Raiders punish 'spitting' Ferguson

The Canberra Raiders have confirmed representative centre Blake Ferguson has been punished by the National Rugby League club after allegations he spat on patrons at the recent Foreshore Festival in Canberra.

The Raiders refused to answer specific questions about the incident, but confirmed they were aware security had been called upon to escort Ferguson from the VIP area of the music festival at Commonwealth Park on November 24.
The father of a witness emailed the Raiders and the NRL to alert them to the incident the day after the festival, which was attended by approximately 20,000 people.

The man, who did not want to be named, then contacted The Canberra Times on Monday after getting no response from the Raiders. He alleged Ferguson had been seen spitting on spectators ''on numerous occasions''.

''While this incident may not be as vile as others involving sports stars over recent years, not only those from the NRL, it is nevertheless a low and disgusting act, and is repugnant to fans, both young and old,'' the man wrote. ''It also shows that some players never learn from the mistakes of others, and do not deserve a place in the game.''
Ferguson, 22, attended the music festival with some Raiders teammates, although they have not been implicated in any reports of misbehaviour.
The Canberra Times sought comment from the Raiders and Ferguson, including whether he had apologised to organisers or patrons of the event.
The club responded only with a
statement: ''The club is aware of the incident and Blake has been punished internally. We will not be making further comment.''
Organisers of the Foreshore Festival, Kicks Entertainment, were not available to comment.
It is not the first time Ferguson has been penalised by the Raiders for an off-field indiscretion this year. Ferguson and Raiders teammate Josh Dugan were suspended from playing in Canberra's round 12 loss to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in May after both breached the club's alcohol policy. Ferguson had reported to training still under the influence of alcohol.
Ferguson previously said of that breach: ''That incident really shocked me and didn't sit well with the coaches and also myself, because I know I'm better than that. It was a rookie error you would say, immature of me and not thinking about the team

Yes agree but you can't go past the fact the bloke is an absolute idiot and these 2 together in any way is bad news waiting to happen.

Agreed mate, any man and his dog could see it, and while ferguson is responsible for his own actions, why were they not watched more closely given their history?

Everyone calm the fk down.

It was Nathan Meritt in a dress and he stuck his ass out seductively at Ferguson.

Only way he was going to get selected.

They didn't tweet pics of themselves sitting on a roof drinking cruisers, giving the finger to the camera.

Compare that to allegations of sexual assault in a toilet & I can see the difference you're inferring.

I thought you said crimes, not repeat misdemeanours. You want Dugan suspended from SOO because of those instances that occurred earlier in the year?

If he is charged with anything, then yes drop him from rep duties & club football. At this stage there is nothing to suggest he was doing anything wrong.

It's clear Ferguson was acting like a tool. Nothing shocking or unexpected there. It is also clear (according to media reports) that the female in question has taken exception to his behaviour and slapped Ferguson across the face. It may well end up she faces assault allegations as well.

TBH not really fussed about Ferguson if he's done something wrong then drop him. Dugan on the other hand has done SFA wrong at this point. Until it's shown he has then not much of an issue IMO.

Ill say this much, robert lui was suspended for bashing his missus, as was issac gordon, both fairly lengthy, if and I mean if ferguson is found guilty by courts (if it gets that far) then he should be levelled with something similar.

interesting to note that despite viewing the footage and taking a statement from the alleged victim that they are looking for further witnesses.

None of the talk should really be about Dugan. Though isn't he still nursing an injured ankle? Being out on the turps while injured wouldn't sit well with NSW or the Dragons I'd imagine.

He was on the footy show going on about how professional he was being about it.

Part of daleys more 'relaxed' attitude in camp? But I think these 2 need to just not be in any teams together

First, of all don't bring dogs into it. We've been there.

Secondly, these blokes are grown men who have been told repeatedly to pull their head in. They don't need a babysitter they need a good hard look at themselves.
