What would he's mental state have been that night after drinking so much alcohol with his diabetes ? is it a possibility that high blood sugar levels could have led to his state of confusion, did he take his diabetes medication that day?why was he allowed to drink so much with his medical condition ? could he have gone into a diabetic coma with so much alcohol on board ?

firstly i don't even go for manly. i dislike them as much as the next person.

but this isn't the time or the place for that.

where did you edit it? it's the same in your post as what i quoted. all i can see about editing is this - Last edited by El Diablo; Today at 09:45 PM. Reason: Quoted deleted speculation

everyone knows you're a f**kwit, hang your head in shame.

My apologies to you, I meant my second clarifying post, you are right, it was not an edit.

I stand by my remarks, the predicament Manly as a club find themselves in is justifable "karma" in the eyes on many many supporters of the game.

My head is held high.

In short, why was he such a dickhead?

If by that we mean awful for the recipient of the alleged sexual assault, then I agree.

No sympathy for men who end up in avoidable situations like this from me. Individual responsibility - means knowing your own limits with alcohol, and respecting other people's physical rights always.

Innocent until proven guilty of course - but is there honestly anyone out there that thinks he shouldn't be stood down until the court decides the case now?

I have no problem if manly stands him down and I have no problem if manly decides not to stand him down, and you know why so i wont bother saying it again :D

So how do you classify an arse grab? Is that indecent assault?

common assault more likely.

Bartman - I actually think most people tend to think of Sexual Assault as not including rape, because other jurisdictions draw a distinction between rape and sexual assault.

so its possible he did technically rape her, but in the end as I said before, to prove the offence the law doesn't care, so why should we?

either way, he faces the same jail term and the same charge - of course come sentencing time it will make a large difference what actually happened.
in my mind, if he did it, he is a grub either way. but your point is noted.

Then stand Stewart down for matches - allow him to train maybe?

Bottom line here is that regardless of the outcome of the sexual assault charge - it is conceded that he did drink too much. On that alone he should be stood down, other players have missed weeks more for lesser offences.

What happened with the bulldogs players those years ago? Im not having a go or anything I dont remember at all whether they were stood down or not, and Im just wondering becasue laffranchi and crocket weren't stood down, and maybe the dogs is another example. Why do you think nobody called for laffranchis and crockets blood in the last few years? I just want to see all sides of it.

EDIT: just noticed a post from you answering about the dogs players so nevermind that.

Agree with all of that.
