Brian Smith -> Roosters?

I'm just stirring Jono ;-)

I just think leaving a contract midway through, is low.

Simple as that.

Not that I am unhappy to see him leave, quite the opposite, but as an Eels fan already said on here, Brian Smith has never once seen out his contract, and the timing of this shows a complete disrespect for the Kngihts players and the rest of 2009, as well as Newcastle fans.

It's a joke.
Well I agree then.. Just like most things Brian Smith, I'm sure it could have been dealt with in a much better way, but it's still not like he stabbed us in the back and just signed the dotted line without us knowing.

Of course Hagan isn't the better coach.

But it must disappoint the Smith fans all the same that Hagan has a better winning %. ;-)

You know Karma, I find your comments on this thread irritating.

I dont know about you mate, but I was there on day one in 2007 when we started preseason.

I have seen what we started with, and what has been done since to get us where we are today.

I didnt agree with everything, but its not my role to question these things.

It was tough work, and nobody wanted that job.

I take great prde in what we have today and more so under the codtions in which we achieved them.

I appreciate you dont like Smith, and have no problem with that.

I looik back on all the effort and how much better we are now and it p*sses me off that you run around on this thread like an immature teenager throwing up ridiculous comments about Hagan and all the rest.

Well you know what old mate, f*ck you. F*ck your comments and you pathetic whinging. If you cant put your hand up and accept Smith has achieved what he was brought here to do.... then you are a f*cking idiot.

Thats all... I am done :)

I put that smiley in so when you get your panties in a bunch I will pretend it was all a joke.

I think you mean Joey had the better winning percentage. Seriously you are a reacher mate. Finally you have a soapbox to carry on with rubbish and you are doing your best to justify your gibberiish with apocryphal bulls###.

Cheers Pika.

If you weren't associated with Smith and employed by the club, I'd almost be offended. ;-)

Smith has done a credible job. Thanks Brian. Enjoy the Roosters is all.

I'm surprised it's taken you this long Pika. If I had some immature w#nker on an internet forum sh*tting all over everything that I worked for, I'd have fired up and had a go long before this.

All I can say is that we are not all like that. Most of us appreciate what the club and the coaching staff do.

Pika ( and obviously you ) didn't get it. Though Pika now does and has apologised.

Shame you don't get it.

Get a sense of humour TJS, and seriously, lose whatever personal issue you have with me because you only come off looking like some grub clinging to some past issue you can't look past.

Oh I get it champ.

You get on here, spout bullsh*t like the proverbial d*ckhead that you are, and the second you are challenged, you pull the old 'it was all a joke' line out of the kit bag (and of course, start finishing every sentence with the pre-requisite smiley).

Not that hard to get really.

Challenged?! Challenged by what?! That the coach you hold so dear is shown to really not give a rats about the Knights?!

I'm not the one who is 'shattered' by his loss. You are though it seems.

You're a grub dude. Seriously. A grub with a personal gripe that goes way beyond this forum.

You're right, the Smith thing might not have been the biggest joke around here - you are.

You can also feel free to PM me anytime TJS instead of airing your dirty laundry issues with me on here and subject everyone else to it.

Haha don't wrap yourself mate. Apart from the fact that I don't understand how I could have a "personal gripe that goes way beyond these pages" against someone that I have never met, you can rest assured that I have plenty of more important people in my life to worry about than you.

And as far as me being a "grub"... well, big words from a bloke that is always the first to pull people up for using personal insults. If someone on here I actually respected as a person or a fan called me a grub, I might be offended. Alas, that is not the case...

And the feeling is mutual.

110%.

The name calling and personal attacks didn't start from my end mate.

As I said though, that PM button is there anytime. I'm always willing to discuss any of this further, because I am sure you are probably a decent guy.

And in the end, we both have 1 thing in common - we both love the Knights ( as much as you don't think I do - I do ) Maybe our passion is shown in varying ways.

So much easier to be more positive now!

Ill believe that when I read it

I have been off line for a day and I here on JJJ that Smith has signed with the Rorters. Imagine my surprise when I find a 7 page thread already with 50% Karmawave content.

Interesting times ahead

I'm overjoyed by the news Pika.

He is a w*nker who has messed up more clubs ( and players ) than he has helped them.

His actions now ( and more so the timing of them ) also have the potential to ruin our 2009.

But I'm not sure Smith really gives a rats.

 The 'I was joking' and the victim mentality. Got caught out like a fool so you cry wolf that someone is picking on you. Sorry, joking or not, you're still a tool. Maybe since you're such a fan of Brian Smith you'll go support the Roosters now? ;D

There are some people who appreciated his work here, I can honestly say I do.
I am disappointed in this news and admire his coaching style.
Hope the team can take it out in 2009 with Smithy, he really deserves a premiership under his name.

I might try a Karma, using reverse psychology though..

I bet our players will be so happy that Smith is pissing off that they will lift and go undefeated for the rest of 2009 and win the premiership by 13+ on the day.

Dureau winning the Dally M of course.

A coach abandons his team mid contract.

The announcement comes 2 months out from what is potentially our first semi final series in years.

And somehow this turns into the anti Karmawave show... AGAIN.

I'm a tool for disliking Brian Smith, and commenting on what a joke this whole thing is in the scheme of our 2009 and the timing of his announcement?!

Right.

Appreciate what he has done?! He has finished 15th and 9th, and now the timing of this could ruin our 2009. COULD.

Whatever can take the focus off the real story here, well lets focus on that huh? It's easier directing sh*t against me than actually recognising the real story.

Whatever gets you through the night...
