It’s be interesting to know what clubs spend $13mill a year plus on? Cap is $12mill, football cap $5mill.
so on $30mill revenue that still leaves $13mill expenses.
Stadium hire for most clubs would take up $1.5-2mill ish.
So that leaves $11mill.
Corporate hosting costs, merch purchasing, membership team. What else are clubs throwing millions at?
he's deranged, 12 months ago he was arguing strongly for Perth and Adelaide and even places like freakin Singapore and now he's against them and insists for more QLD teams.
He can't seem to cope with other people not wanting Brisbane as the 18th team.
Instead of debating maturely he resorts to childish and petty attacks against the Raiders and the city of Canberra.
We don't want another Brisbane team cause we are jealous they will be more successful than the Raiders? for f**k sake...
The Dolphins admission to the comp has hurt the Cowboys more then any other team in the NRL, in terms of talent retention.
Another Brisbane team will likely be curtains for the Cowboys long term sustainability as a competitive team.
He then digs up some post i made 3 years ago, which wasn't serious, just a conspiracy theory I threw out there and he's arguing against it as if that's my current position on expansion.
How mature of you @Get Rid of The Donkeys
Dragons to Singapore is way crazier than anything I've said, or Dragons trying to tap into the Chinese community cause Chinese people love Dragons lol or the Dragons should rebrand because English people are offended by Dragons.Another strawman by the resident loony tune.
I'm still pro-Perth. I never said Singapore was a likely candidate, BTW. I stated it's the only large city near Australia with a strong economy. I brought it up because people were talking down the PNG bid based on its inability to generate revenue for the game. You've routinely spoken against PNG having a team in the NRL for this reason.
I have suggested the Dragons relocate to Singapore. It won't happen.
You don't want Brisbane to have more than two teams at any stage in the future. You do not have a logical argument to support your position. You're on record saying Brisbane should be kept at just two so we can expand into new cities.
You've said plenty of nasty shit about Brisbane and Logan. So have a few of the other posters who argue against a third Brisbane team.
You've spoken negatively about Brisbane on numerous occasions.
Your intellectually handicapped friend @Canard is against a third Brisbane team because he believes it will strip the Cowboys of players.
This is the same @Canard who accused me of wanting a third Brisbane team out of selfishness a few pages back. His position against a third Brisbane team is based out of selfishness and insanity. The only topline player the Cowboys lost was Gilbert, who chose to rocate back to Brisbane. Tabuai-Fidow and Lemuelu left because they couldn't get a spot in the starting side.
It wasn't the first time you've brought up that idiotic theory. You've been arguing for years that the broadcasters don't want to develop the game outside of Brisbane and Sydney because it might reduce the status of Origin, or something along those lines. It's patently obvious you believe these bullshit theories that you've cooked up.

Geez you wonder why you actually post anything here, nobody much much likes you.Exposing your logical fallacies and outright lies isn't immature.
You're the prick who routinely accuses other people of being on drugs when they say something you disagree with.
That's hardly a mature thing to say in response to something you disagree with, is it?
If you knocked off the ad hominems then people wouldn't hurl them back at you.
Fkn racist...Dragons to Singapore is way crazier than anything I've said, or Dragons trying to tap into the Chinese community cause Chinese people love Dragons lol or the Dragons should rebrand because English people are offended by Dragons.
Omy god thats hilliarious... Grand Rapid Rugby Showcase series... to make it clear.. there was no Brisbane team either... or Sydney or anything in Australia barr the western force ..who got turfed from RU.The Sunnybank Dragons enticed Chinese nationals who've relocated to Australia to register their children to play for the club. These people never heard of rugby union until the club reached out to them. It shows what can happen when a club embraces an demographic that is not familiar with the game.
If you really think the Han community in Kogarah, Singapore or any other country is incapable of supporting rugby league then why are you always trying to push the game in Adelaide?
While the Han are unfamiliar with rugby league, the people of Adelaide have a strong hatred against it and see it as a threat to fumbleball. I don't know a single person from Adelaide who even watches rugby league.
It's hard to keep up with all of your crazy theories. On the one hand you think the media and ARLC are against expanding into Adelaide and Perth because they're allegedly worried about diminishing Origin's marketability. You even think the ARLC have an agreement with the ARU to not field a team in Perth. On the other hand, you strut around saying Brisbane will not get another team for 30 years because of News Ltd and talk up Adelaide and Perth.
You're a walking contradiction.
The only constant in your contradictions is your anti-Brisbane rhetoric. You're extremely biased and live in a fantasy world.
I never said the English are "offended by Dragons". I said it's stupid having a team called "St George Dragons" because St George slayed the dragon. Read a f**ken history book.
For the record, a Singaporean-based team called the Asia Pacific Dragons played in the Grand Rapid Rugby Showcase Series In 2019. There was no team from Adelaide competing in it.
