I don’t think Perth should get a team

but if vlandys does it I’ll accept it’s good for the game and welcome their entry

not sook like a child
Perth is the only sustainable bid

Hahahahjajaa

I want long term sustainable and viable clubs in new markets that grow RL beyond what it currently is. At the moment potentially Perth that fits that bill better than most.
NZ2 has a lot of potential if they can get a backer and build a business case,

PNG no one can answer what happens when the govt money runs out? How they will eventually be a genuine PNG club, not a fifo qlnd club? how do you make a $35mill prof sports club work in third world country? I love the ambition but it seems fraught with lack of sustainability.

Brisbane3 just isnt needed at the moment when we have a number of other new markets we can grow into.
Perth is barely sustainable

it’s got govt backing like png

but way less

Perth Red: "We need clubs that are viable."

Brisbane Tigers have $135m worth of assets, a high performance training centre, a redeveloped Langlands Park that hosted 3 NRLW games in 2023, and; 15 affiliated clubs and schools in southern Brisbane and Logan.

Perth Red: "We cannot have viable clubs from Brisbane! It must be Perff Perff Perff!"

You would have to be truly f**ked in the head to compare Barlow Park to HBF.

There is Big 4s with better facilities then Barlow Park, f**k half of Sydney play in dumps worse then HBF
You’re just realising pippen/donkey is fcked in the head? It’s taken you a while lol.

Barlow Park is a shithole, but that's to be expected.

It's located in a regional city that produces fruitloops like Canard and Vee.

Perth Rectangular Stadium is the premier venue for three codes of football in Australia's "richest" state. It's a sad indictment on Perth's disregard for any code of football that isn't fumbleball.

At one stage the Western Force were drawing 27k to Subiaco. That was the time for the WA Gov to build a 30k seat venue, similar to Parramatta Stadium. If it had have built one then Perth might have an NRL team by now. There would have been more women's world cup soccer games in Perth if the city had a decent venue.

It really is time for the WA Gov to move into the 21st century and build state of the art infrastructure.

People here have such entrenched positions on particular expansion….

seems a bit odd to me …

I just wish the NRL had some particular strategy to expand … seems pretty ad hoc what they are doing…
They're placing a lot of emphasis on the Pacific. It makes me think NZ2 will be heavily considered for the 19th licence.
