Just need to not exist at NRL level, then easts tigers of cooparoo can swoop right in, with their brand name intact

I would prefer East's go it alone. Don't want any abomination of an amalgamation of QLD and NSW clubs. That's goes for Ipswich and Newtown too.

Your right they don't have much to offer, BUT just like norths are a carrot for perths away crowds here in Sydney, balmain can do the same for East Brisbane, so they still can offer that, there's also the return of the famous orange jersey that both teams share... it's pretty universally loved, getting those Sydney away fans interested for 10 games in Sydney is better than the shit show they've been pulling for this past decade
