It seems Cabra aren't the only ones who cant tell their players the truth.
Surely the players in A grade would have had more to offer than the selected ones who got smashed.
Bullsfan has gone into hiding with the rest of them.
You cant keep stringing players along forever they are not that silly.
Plenty of room at Cheso for those who wont get a run there this season.

As long as they don't do any massive recriutment drive before the game on Friday night

Nice win by Brothers tonight, glad they've managed to win their first 2 games away from home, although feel a bit sorry for Chester Hill, a combined total of 0-64 in their last 2 matches.

Brothers dream start to the Bundaberg Red Cup has continued with a huge win tonight 26 - 0 at Terry Lamb Complex. Brothers defence was fantastic but the attack tonight came together with 5 tries, the last going to Michael Hawkings. Next week everyone gets to see Penrith Brothers play at home verse the Bankstown Bulls.
Big test next week.

Mounties 28 - Campbelltown 26.
Eagles led 20-6 at halftime and 26-6 with 20 minutes remaining but couldn't hang on against the fast finishing Mounties.

The penalty count against Mounties was 18-6 with the crucial penalty coming for Mounties after the full time siren which allowed them to snatch victory.

Campbelltown had 5 State Cup players in the team from Wests who had the bye.

Brothers went down 32-8 to Bankstown in front of a reasonably big crowd at the Rugby Park. Apparently the scoreline isn't a true indication of the game, and the boys played pretty well for the most part. I didn't get out to the game for this one, but I probably will be at the game vs Mounties next Sunday

Hi all,
I have been reading your forum for sometime and thought I would give you an update on Brothers.
Yes they went down to Bulls today 32 -8 and the score was no indication of the result. Brothers should have led by a couple of tries at half-time but 2 awful decisions had both the teams at 4 all.
Bulls again had the run of the game and 3 late tries made the score look good. In all the Bulls were the better side at the end of the game, but I was impressed with the Brothers side. Brothers may upset a few of the better fancied sides this year but we at Penrith would be happy to see them compete like they did today in all of their games.

Bulls beat Reds. Reds were winning just after Ht but Bulls pulled away and won comfortably in 2nd half.

BROTHERS THRASH MOUNTIES Penrith Brothers have produced a near faultless game to beat top of the table Mounties 36 - 6. Brothers were the dominant team through out the game with Mounties only managing to score in the final minutes.
Brothers led the first half 10 - nil and went on to win with ease and Dave Farkas was named the Bundaberg Red Man of the Match.

That is an amazing result for Brothers, and their great start has come with very few additions to the team that played in the local comp. According to the NSWRL website, the other big gun, Cabramatta also fell to upset 24-26 against Southern Districts.

The Windsor vs Wenty game was deferred.

That means the Bulls, Cabra, Brothers and Mounties are all on 6 points and Southern Districts are 5, then Wenty 4, Windsor and Campbelltown are 2, WA Reds 1 and Chester Hill 0.

Yeap..Thats Right Roland, i think Southern sharks is Our Bogey Team.. i remember Last Seasons Final Game .. they upset us & instead of coming third last season we had to settle for fourth ..in which put us in a Position to play Fifth place team [knock out].. Shellharbour.. in which they had 4 players backing up from St. George Dragons & we got knocked out.. so mounties are on Top now.. they deserve to be on Top.. In past Games Cabra's Failure to put away sides after Racking up big Leads Seems to be our Achilles Heel..
