Fire up Eion.

P.S The club seems to be following The Masked Avengers plan of action.
As well they should MA. Lets talk conspiracy theory - the club knew buster had done nothing really wrong and that would come out. Club issues strong statements, talking up a tough line knowing full well he'd be exonorated and play this weekend. So we come out smelling like roses and rorters / manly smell like what they are, stinking piles of festering filth.

Video footage clears Cronulla half-back Brett Seymour of wrongdoing

By Josh Massoud
March 19, 2009 Cronulla half-back Brett Seymour could still play in round two after CCTV footage cleared him of any serious wrongdoing just hours after Sharks officials stood him down.
Club staff and police day on Wednesday viewed video footage of Seymour's ejection from Cronulla night spot 2230 Restaurant & Bar following a 10-hour bender on Sunday night.
Venue manager Michael Major told The Daily Telegraph the footage showed Seymour being removed for drunkeness and wearing thongs, but that the 24-year-old did not fall into a garden bed.
"The footage shows Brett being escorted from the club by two security staff and then walking up the mall," Major said.
"It does show a man falling into the garden bed - but that wasn't Brett."
Major also denied TV reports that Seymour had wet himself.
"That's not correct - he had a drink spilled over him," he said.
Sharks officials, however, have hired a private eye to investigate Seymour's behaviour earlier in the evening.
Witnesses said he threw pizza and abused patrons at another bar.
Sharks CEO Tony Zappia met Seymour Monday morning, and the playmaker admitted he had too much to drink after starting out with casual lunch alongside coach Ricky Stuart and teammates at Caringbah Inn about 2pm Sunday.
Zappia immediately stood Seymour down from "training and club commitments" pending the club's investigation.
Zappia hoped to know the results late Thursday, when he might be in a position to reinstate Seymour in time for Monday night's home game against Newcastle.
Seymour already has a warning from the Sharks after a 2008 conviction for drink-driving.

perfect example of not believing anythign you hear in the media.

Pissed himself = had a drink spilt on him (ive had that done atleast 6 times)

drunk and collapsed in garden= stumbled into a garden bed outside the club (done that to)

Slept in garden bed and woke up there= he walked away alone didnt he???

f**king media can all go f**k emselves

oh and where are the photos???

ok so now he might have had drink spilt on him....

was not to drunk as he walked away....

didnt even fall in the garden let alone sleep there....

and the photo's never came out cos it wasnt him.... disgraceful media reporting. Im pretty sure that roosters player was the person in the car driving 3 times over the limit. Seymour is innocent.

Only thing he may be guilty of is wearing thongs... but hey if they are double pluggers then he has gone up in my mind and should be rewarded as far as im concerned.

FMD Surely he will be allowed to play now?
Cleared of any wrong doing and fronted up the next day and finished training. Training with a monstrous hangover is punishment enough i say.

Agree 100%.... seems i went off early having a go at the club. They had a plan and it seems to have worked. ALthough they knew he was ok so it was just a bit of PR.... anyway on with the footy???
