Considering the lack of action from the NRL in regards to grappling it's hard to see anyone getting suspended for it, having said that, there's no doubt Smith should be suspended. That wasn't a case of his arm slipping up in the tackle, he clearly attacked the head.

Perhaps the one thing going in Smith's favour is Thaiday's reaction. He seemed more concerned with the attack on his arm rather than anything C. Smith was doing.
