I love league, its the best sport in the world, but i am not naive enough (like some) in being jealous of someone like Johns who earns a yr what some athletes earn in 3 weeks

but Johns only was leader twice. Lockyer was given the position and has run away with it and done a fine job.
IF Johns had been captain for 10-12 times and went down for a yr (with injury...what else is new) and then came back then he should be captain again. But, it was only twice.

I'm not a Novocastrian.

I like other sports.

I admire other players outside of Newcastle.

I don't really like Johns that much socially from what I've seen.

BUT,

The fact remains that you are a nuffie in this big wide world, and you wish you were as rich and successful as Johns. I don't care what some American earns. What we are comparing is you and Johns' wages. His is a hell of alot better than yours. And no, I'm not judging you on wealth, it just seems that to you, the world revolves around money.
