O'Davis - roids
Doogs - roids
Johns - use
Wicks - sale
Houso - sale

Seems we only imported a drug dealing culture.

Keep kicking us when we are down. Such heroes, the lot of you.

Take it easy buddy.

Jokes aside, a strong and competitive Newcastle is very important to the NRL.

You'll survive.

Richards was at the Steelers when he got caught. But don't let the facts get in the way of a bit of "kick the club in the teeth when it is down".

Well it's a shame that it hasn't been established that they were into it before they got there.
As I said, maybe this is why Saints were happy to put very little effort into retaining their services beyond their current contracts in 2007.
Or maybe that just got into it when they arrived, more likely the latter, I've had a lot to do with certain people in Newcastle for a fair while now and the drug trade is doing moderately well down there.

its been said so many times but what an absolute idiot, given the circumstances that have been hantging around since the wicks fiasco and to just sit and wait and see if he could get away with it, and for university graduate thats equally stupid.

and anyone who compares this to what robbie o mad dog and wayne richards did, its not the same. they all along with a few others clinton schifoske and rodney howe as well where all using drugs prescribed to them that where then deemd illegal and they iether had not been informed or in howes case the stuff was still in his system from his reds days

You were the one that bagged North Queensland and it's apparent bad culture.
Turns out it's Newcastle that has the culture problem.

I do feel for Newcastle fans, it's a real problem by the looks, how they fix what's going on I don't know.
Houston seems like a decent guy and a good player, silly boy.

You can add Steve Crowe to that list.

Rabbitohs fullback charged with drug dealing

By Matthew Thompson
April 29 2002

South Sydney rugby league fullback Damien Mostyn has been suspended from the team after being arrested on Friday night for alleged drug-dealing.
The 23-year old father from Mascot has been charged with drug-dealing on an "on-going basis", said a police spokesman.
News of Mostyn's arrest hit the club's management on Saturday night.
"He's basically stood down [from the team] pending the police investigation," said Souths CEO Paul Dunn.

Mr Dunn will be meeting at 3.30 this afternoon with Mostyn and George Mimis - a business partner of Mostyn's manager Darryl Mather, who is overseas.

The Daily Telegraph reported today that Mostyn, who joined the born-again Rabbitohs this year after stints with the Roosters and Sharks, allegedly tried to sell ecstasy tablets to undercover police, and was then charged at Hurstville police station.
Detectives allegedly found a quantity of ecstasy on him, the paper said. Mostyn was granted conditional bail and would appear in Sutherland Local Court on May 23, said a police spokesman.

Correct, and he was at Illawarra that year.

Incorrect.

He played for Newcastle from 1991 to 1994, then went to Illawarra in 1995-1996, then went back to Newcastle from 1997 and 1998.

After he was busted at Newcastle he played at Souths in 1999.

Are you positive of that?

Knightmare, stop digging your own grave.

Wayne Richards was at the Knights when he was caught in the same drug swoop as Robbie O. He was guilty of injecting a roid into his ankle while injured for Newcastle.

He was sacked immediately as he admitted his guilt.

Then signed up a few weeks later

Richards played for Illawarra in 95 and 96. He was at the knights in 97 and 98. Rabbitohs in 99. At least thats how I remember it... He was the only one of the three players to test positive that was sacked by the knights.
