To be honest, my first preference would be him to stay at Melbourne. Sure, it would be a great coup for Souths, but how would we re-sign/sign other players. At the moment we need a quality 5/8, a few props and maybe some outside backs. Cronk would be a useless signing to us, unless he were to play 5/8, which i just can't see.

To play with his former assistant coach who he got on very well with, who he's described as a "genius", who played a role in turning him into a star. To play with several former teammates. To be the halfback of a squad that can surround him with talent, including Burgess, Luke, GI and Merritt.

So a coach he respects + teammates he knows and likes + talented players to play off him.

.

what geniused f**king logic. he's alreayd with a coach he respects (who gave him a shot and made him). he's in a squad filled with talent playing with someone who will go down as possibly the ebst hooker of all time as well as someone who's already the best fullback....

but no, he'll sign with soufs cos he'd like to play with sutton and talanoa

p.s f**k you muzby :fist:

Difference is we can presumably pay him a lot more.
