Round 17 last year was 71K so 10K are needed tonight to match that - probably won't happen.

BUT Last year Rd 17 got 30K at Lang for Broncos vs Tigers and the other 4 matches averaged 10K - so taking that into account another SOO affected round has produced a better result than last year,

Tonight's 9,817 at SFS means we cracked 72,313... better than 2010!

That is a pretty fair assessment of the good the membership drive is doing the club. 2 years ago that crowd would have been halved.

Correction - it looks like R17 last year was 73k, so we're 1k short. But as DIOGENES said, that round was made up of 30k @ Suncorp, then 9k, 10k, 9k and 12k. This round was much healthier.

10k on a Monday night against a poor drawing out of town club aint too bad....especially when you coinsider we are a f**kin joke of a team at the moment.

I second the membership comment someone mentioned above. Not sure we'll hold onto that membership growth next year though...

The storm only have 3 games left but 2 of those are against the dragons and broncos so hopefully that helps the average a bit.

The final game is against the panthers but hopefully with good form and following a big crowd against the broncs that one will be decent.

Very pleased with the Knights position.

Should get above the dragons no problems due to the larger ground capacity. Monday night should still be a decent crowd given school holidays, and we still have games against Manly and Brisbane which if we keep our form could push 25k. Im heading to the Manly game, should be a cracker, and a HUGE crowd. Broncos will most likely be a Friday night game not Live in NSW, so could draw even more for that reason.

Titans and Raiders will most likely be down, but with the cheap tickets should still get 15-18k seeing they are Sunday arvo.
