You would think he would have seen out the season. I expect some kind of sex scandal involving moffo

Today is my Birthday.

Happy Birthday to me!!!!

I will remember this one for quite some time.

Gallop did OK as a middle man I guess, but he was a always a News Ltd. Puppet.

I look forward to Rothfields articels praising Dave and attacking the Masserati driving Queenslander tomorrow.

Good on you John Grant and the ARLC Board.

This is a watershed day for the game.

I believe he did a solid job in a tough period, had a lot of off field stuff to deal with and handled it well imo but I think we needed a change and it is a good move to get someone else in there who can lead us forward into the future.

This. People always criticised him for his conservative approach whined about not entering a new team into the comp every year even though most clubs are operating at a loss and new clubs don't have the best history of sticking around (and look at the titans right now).

I think Neil Whittaker did all the hard work for Gallop. Gallop had a walk in the park compared to the massive job Whittaker had to undertake.

Whittaker did more in his short time than Gallop did in 10 years.

Fact.

Has the ARLC seen his poor job in the negotiations and allowed him to jump before he was pushed?

OR

Is the TV deal not looking to good and Gallop is trying to save face?

Seems like odd timing.

Hope the Stewart brothers and the whole Manly club head butt this Merkin on his way out.

Cue ridiculous, bitter, illogical Manly fans celebrating. Msassive news

Why would it be illogical to want a useless News Ltd puppet to distance himself from the game? The list of wrongs goes way beyond anything relating to Brett Stewart. He even f**ked up the Storm debacle by allowing the players to keep the premiership rings and not having someone forcably remove the tatts with a blowtorch.
