Diablo III

Can anyone tell me if the PC version of the game includes an installer for Mac? I haven't had a chance to head to JB to grab it yet, and it seems EB and JB only list a 'PC' version, I may need to buy a digital download.

Finished normal foreveralone, have started nightmare with a group and its insanely more fun.

Haven't sold sh*t on the AH, i think it needs some work tbh.

Still haven't got past the Skeleton King. The lag I'm getting is still really bad.

Edit: after a bit of searching on other firums, pretty sure my video card is to blame.

I like the gameplay so far and it feels like Diablo but I seriously hate this 'must be online to play my single player game' bullshit.

Installed and created my first character last night, tried to get into the game for almost an hour and couldn't go more than 5 minutes without being disconnected and droppped back to the menu - really p!ssing me off. :x

Normally I'd avoid 'online required for single player' just on principle, I hate it - but it's Diablo so what choice did I have? Looking around the forums at Blizzard shows it's not an uncommon issue and hopefully they sort it out so I can have a crack over the weekend.

I have a 5 year old lap top, so hopefully minimum specs will allow it to run.

Minimum spec Diablo 3 is better than no Diable 3 for me

Sold a chest peice for 5k last night on the AH.

Compared to the WoW AH, the Diablo one sucks balls.

Haven't had any disconnection errors but my player chat last night wasn't working for a while.

Go to options and set your resolution to 800x600 and turn down all the visual options

I had already done the visuals, but not the resolution. Will try it.

I have a desktop that I will be getting upgraded next week, Im just too impatient.

You would think after a decade that I could wait another week or so.... guess not.

Anyone else finding it decidedly average for a Diablo game?

So far it just seems a little easy, having to re-run some of the boring sections when my connection farts or their servers have a seizure probably isn't helping my enjoyment.

Yeah I can't say I'm super impressed with it just yet. Especially with Max Payne 3 out, and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier coming out in a few days, I can't see it holding my interest for too long.

First game with online requirement for me, I've intentionally avoided any game with it to date and won't buy another.

It is pretty shite.

I tried the Asian servers and was getting 500-700ms latency. unplayable.

Just because some tards hacked on D2, we have to put up with this.

If it is regular maintenance I will be pissed. Tuesday is Packed to the Rafters night.... that means a solid hour guilt free play time whilst the wife watches tele.

i get 280-300 ping in non-peak (US) time. the absolute worst i've seen thus far is around 530 .

having said that, there is no excuse for Blizzard to not provide an Aussie hosted server. it could serve a lot more than just Australia, and cost isn't the issue that they make it out to be, either. sure, it will cost more than nothing, but it won't make it unprofitable for them or anything.
