First patch has been released and within 10 minutes of playing I've already noticed a difference in career mode batting. Seems a lot easier to time and place your shots now. Also love the fielding positions now being above the fielders head when you manually scan the field. Been caught out a few times to fielders that were hidden amongst the crowd. Not a problem at all now.

Pushing right on the d-pad also brings up a confidence and fatigue meter, need more game time to see how that can be used.

So played 2 shield career games, as a super quick
First innings 4/89 2nd innings 2/27,38 no balls
Darsh scored a match winning 150

2nd game
1st innings 5/38,2nd innings 1/15 15 no balls
HAH got a f**king century
Oh and 1 run from number 8 in 4 innings

The top order is where I get most of my wickets, bottom order I just go for the kill too quick

Just cracked my first double century in career mode. Hit a 247 ball 226 not out against South Australia. Really been killing it lately as I've gotten my first class average up to 45. Getting attention from English P40 sides and even managed to get Australian ODI selection to change to fair way off.

226?

fmd, I can only dream

Don't worry, very next innings I smashed one straight back to the bowler for a first ball duck then followed it up with a lovely 2 off 8 in a ryobi cup match against Victoria.

The blues batting line up is a f**king joke,i put my heart and soul into bowling the best i can for my side who gets out for under 200 all too f**king often,I'm very much in the Bing mold as i bat at 8 and go for the bash (HS 19) but i can rip through an order quickly enough to make things interesting (Other than a few overpowered internationals like Buck Rodgers the motherf**ker)

I get almost no support from the rest of the attack and after one poor performance in Ryobi cup i get moved to 3rd change ffs

The f**king umpire can pick up every tiny little no ball i bowl but doesn't know what LBW f**king means,i have to get them plumb as f**k for a decision to go my way

This game is full of what i like to call "f**k off value"

f**k off value is the times when you believe yourself to have just been f**ked over but you keep going and when you get that wicket it's so rewarding,i feel godlike at times bowling when i pin them down then steal their wickets

f**k off value is what makes you scream "OH f**k OFF" in the dead of night nearly scaring the piss out of your poor dog whose watching the game by your side

Bought this at ozgameshop.com. Looks like the first decent cricket game in ages. I've always wanted a cricket game with a solid career mode.

I bowled fast and short of a length outside off stump to Hughes, got him for a duck off 4 balls in both innings.

The accuracy of this game is amazing.

I'm basically playing as myself

In my grade I was the quickest and best bowler by about 10 runs per wicket, I bowled outswing and had an ankle shattering yorker, I was in a poor club so I didn't really get re-graded without my team, our batting was always a pathetic joke

I was number 8-11 batsman who would get a quick fire 15 or out for a duck, my highest score was 44 and my best figures were 7-39 off 22.4

I'm playing myself on the game plus about 30kph but with a lot less swing

I'm playing as an opener and currently have an average of around 10 :(

Top scores of 42 and 36 with everything else 12 and under, played one first class match and got a golden pair.
