Dragons statement: Player breach

Trust me NSW Police have a lot more to worry about than StGeorge. They dealt with the matter on the night and issued the $1000 fines as required. It’s these grubby journo’s who are hell bent on stoking the fire. Knocking on PV’s neighbours doors and getting as much dirt as possible. f**k off you c**k heads and leave the matter alone

Wouldn’t those journalists also be in breach of the lock-downs rules ?

I mean what sort of excuse do they have by interviewing Vaughan’s neighbours , they are still breaking the curfew.

Someone should call the boys in blue and dob the f##kers in !

I agree with your comments re NRL 360....it was bad enough that Kent wanted to bully everone on the show and force his opinion on others but now we have "shut up everyone and listen to me I know everything" Hadley putting his 2 bobs worth in about everybody and everything....what particularly annoyed me last night was when Vaughan was being interviewed at one stage he was struggling to answer the questions and Kent said its ok mate take your time and appearing to be very warm and fuzzy to his face, and as soon as the interview finished the panel started giving it to Vaughan and the rest of the players for their actions....as Ive stated ad nauseam I dont condone what transpired with the guilty players but these journos and the media are going to milk this saga to the bitter end...like you I used to enjoy NRL 360 but now Ikin has gone and Hadley appears to be a regular I'll be viewing elsewhere
There is something wrong with NRL media. Only in the NRL do we have media/ broadcasters bagging the hell out of the game that they rely on for revenue, broadcast ratings and advertising revenue.....it makes no sense and you don’t see it like this in the AFL side of the fence...

They never did yonks ago - the 50’s , 60’s and 70’s , they would report on the actual game itself and as you have said FlameThrower putting the game in a good light and by so doing basically selling the game of rugby league to the public .

But thejournos nowadays all seem to have a chip on their shoulder , that and with the television NRL shows vying with one another to be the most knowledgeable.

What irks me is that a fella who has been a Dragon fan for a good 60 years , his opinion pales into insignificance against these know all scribes .

They certainly do tear at the very fabric of our game and quite simply the game cannot afford that - nor them for that matter.

Bit harsh wanting BH head on this one but I agree a bit of planning from the club could have helped. Surely a couple of drivers to get the Sydney boys home and the gong boys home could have avoided all this. Few beers and a bbq at Win Stadium after a recovery session would have been the way to go…
I thought it would be a COVID bubble but under the rules, just like SOO players have, staying as a group. I was too harsh thanks Redv13👍

Hook will never get a better opportunity to prove he’s an elite coach. If he can steer us into the 8 after this he will rightly deserve a 3yr extension.

A lot of soul searching warranted by the playing group, are they serious about making the personal sacrifices required to win a comp or not? I believe the fallout from this isn’t over yet. I think one or two players might be told they are not needed next year. With Su’a coming Fuimaono might be let go. What a 180 Fuimaono’s season has taken, started the season great then almost kills Papenhuzen who still played since Magic Round now likely to be shown the door.

I’d be resigning Fuimaono. See ya later Vaughan, Norman, Dufty, Ellis, JP, Beale

Well Fui & Beale are the only ones left that a decision has to be made on in that lot.
Although this speculation re JP and the Broncos for next year,
I dont think is over the line, we might be still interested?

Ive decided that I was going to give NRL360 the flick, but couldnt resist a quick look in tonite to see what and who they were tearing into...didnt take long before another know it all imo (Cooper Cronk) that was siting in Hadleys chair was voicing his disapproval of us signing Jaydn Su'A and that it was a bit rich (or words to that effect) us using other players to help out seeing our blokes had been suspended...sort of implying it was unethical......really !!!!!... I think thats a bit rich coming from a former player from The Melbourne Storm mob...
