Have you ever played a team sport?Captaincy has little to do with playing ability. Are you in the top 17? Then you're good enough to be captain. It's about talking to refs and the media. Mannah is also a co-captain.
At least he doesn't get them off side.Mannah is useless at talking to the refs, always has been.
I never said they were cheating I said they're spending more on players than we are.
Because their administrators all snort coke with high rollers. Plus the performance enhancing drugs thing. You can see they're rule benders. Our club is run by cleanskins.
Every team has a stack of plodders. Even the Storm. We simply have too many plodders, Moeroa, Pritchard, Alvaro, Gower, Mannah and even Matagi in parts.
It's a major issue.
We have to many in our forward pack with only Mau'u and Brown being the class.Every team has a stack of plodders. Even the Storm.
I have, but I played at a shit level just like you, where the best and most popular player in the team is named captain because the coach needs to keep him happy. There are no media commitments or any of that shit to worry about. I played in a park footy team where the captain was a drug dealer.Have you ever played a team sport?

We need much more then that.
Melbourne have the best prop in the game along with the best player in the game along with an international back rower.
Please do not compare us to them.
Gee, we killed the Cowboys the other week defensively, yet this week they got over probably one of the better packs in the dogs!!
So it's not like our pack can't compete with the better packs!!
Our biggest problem with our pack is inconsistency!! And that comes down to ball control!!
Moeroa doesn't offload / we don't throw a stupid pass - which both lead to tries, the out come could be different!!
We had 39% of ball and lost two backs in the last 20!!!
I disagree. Bending the rules is different to breaking them. How can you police the requirement that TPAs can't be contingent on the player playing for a given club? It is self-policed.I beg to differ as quoted below...
For NRL salary cap purposes, bending the rule is cheating...
Warriors, Souths, Penrith, raiders, dogs and manly all have more rep forwards then us and none of them have more won games then us !!
Perhaps I should have qualified it. Have you played a team sport as an adult?I have, but I played at a shit level just like you, where the best and most popular player in the team is named captain because the coach needs to keep him happy. In reality, these guys might be genuine leaders but they'll lead whether they are named captain or not. You need more than one leader in a successful team. The more the merrier.

We're not going to be premiership contenders this year. Might as well accept it.None of those teams on current form are capable of winning the comp either.
I'm sure our current forward pack is good enough to jag a Top 8 spot. But, are we happy with middle of the road with the potential to maybe jag a Top 8 spot or do we want to be Premiership contenders.
You think a drug dealer captained my under 12s team?Perhaps I should have qualified it. Have you played a team sport as an adult?
Their superior performance over multiple seasons is evidence enough. What counter evidence do you have against my assertion? But you've still got no evidence to suggest the Sharks have any more TPA's, legal or not, than Souths or Manly or the Dragons or Us?
