Parra looked sharp. I've said before Penisini is a better prospect then Critchton. And I rate Both.
Shaun Lane will have a good season. He looked sharper and more agile. Parras forward pack is very good. And they have worked on ball skills. They had all the ball and just ran over the top.
Young guy Russel impressed me for Parra.

For Penrith I mean no Cleary means no one steering them around. Burton's ot there anymore as a backup. So the whole game plans done already.
Tago and May however look like great talents. Both will play a lot of NRL.
Kikau is going to be a poor signing for the dogs. Mahoney will be a good one. Sides are working Kikau out.
Capewell is going to be missed big time. A real footballer with toughness. Nothing special but tough.

Anyhows 6 of your best where out against Parras just about strongest. What did people think would happen? Two strong sides and equally balanced and one has half the starters out.

On Staines he was ok and played a bit tougher then normal but still not convinced he plays tough enough for NRL. He certainly ly wasn't bad and in the wet doesn't suit him.

Did they choke but? They lost to the premiers by a penalty goal. And without a hooker in the squad. I just don't see how its a choke. They where not favourites and where ot expected to win.

We were running on the smell of an oily rag as we had quite a few injuries through that finals series. I thought our win over the Storm a week later was a miracle of miracles.

I said it before. Look at Tago up until now only a handful of games at centre he will take time.
