I thought he had a decent game tbh - pretty much the only guy out there who looked like sparking the attack.
Keating and Morts are good footballers but neither are halfbacks. They had the chance to step up tonight in Hayne's absence and really didn't offer much

I agree. I thought Keating and Morts was ordinary.We need good halves. Probably we should have switched Mateo to 5/8th and let keating go.

Parramatta didn't play that bad. Not enough credit to Sharks; they were great.

i dont think anyone here is slashing their wrists over it but its just so annoying that they get smashed week after week by other teams but we lose to them EVERY FKN TIME!
i suppose we are lucky it was only a 4 point loss if the sharks got a few lucky bounces we could have gone down by 20

I thought Aton was better than Gallen but I guess he does the less flashy stuff, like Hindy.

yeah aiton was their best, but gallen just doesn't stop - he's a tank with legs ... a knob, but his workrate is phenomenal

At 18-10 up at half time the Eels should have gone on with the job but to the credit of the Sharks they fought there way back and fully deserved there victory.

Man.... im just as angry as anyone else but some of you need to take a good look at yourselves. And the one blaming Hayne just should f**k off and follow soccer !

Im with Snoochie, right up till the last 20 seconds I was thinking we can win this.
Some poor decisions & some poor reffing didnt help.

I thought Grothe had a reasonable game first game back, Morts did well considering i reckon he mad as many tackles as Hindy, Ben Smith was strong, Horo good and I was very impressed with Humble.

Pissed we lost to the Sharks who couldnt normally beat Greystanes Under 16's but not suicide material just yet!

One thing though, Im convinced Fox Sports commentators make Nine look like experts, Brandy & Laurie obviously hate us with a passion. To listen to them give both Gallen & Barrett a wrap at the end was just too much! I thought they were close to the Shark's worst. For mine Tim Smith played well and Aton (spelling?) was far & away their best forward.

Oh please.... I heard Phill's rant during Knights and Tigers. He was absolute rubbish. In fact Sterling hardly speaks. Gus was absolute biased commentator...

It was alot like our other losses, we let the sharks get out of their end far too easily and our forward pack seemed flat

We weren't that bad really. Sharks had plenty of field postion in the 1st half and only cam up with 2 tries we none and scored 3 tries.
Sharks really worked the ruck and slowed us down which stopped our offload game.
We let the sharks play the ball too quick and get rolls on, our scrambling was good in defence.
The aiton try from the bomb should have been a penalty, Humble was clearly taken out and the video ref should have been called on the one grothe knocked back in his foot was in the air but the touchie had his flag up, not sure if ben ground inside the ingoal but still video should have been used.
We missed our 2 best backs, they were at full strength.
Sharks 8/10
Eels 7/10
Refs 4/10

Parra aren't nothing without Hayne. Granted, he would be a huge loss if he left the Eels but as they say, life goes on. No player is bigger than the game and the day that happens is the day I won't be following league. I seriously doubt Parra membership would decrease but if it did then those members aren't worth having in the first place. They would be the true bandwagon members..........let them go, I will even show them the door.

Wow, Sharks were paying $3.25, i must remember to put a heap of cash on em every time we play. Great savings plans.

Could we of made any more errors?? Great way to undo the previous form we have showed over the past couple of weeks. I doubt the Premiers of 2010 will lose to the Cronulla sharks twice and go on to win the whole thing.
