How good are this?

Reading them again now is as good as reading them the first time around.

Unit, I'm with you here ... it seems a shame that this isn't being continued ... if it's a time management issue then I'll put my hand up to help if needs be ... I reckon that a Best of F7's would be a good read (divided by genre perhaps).

It was a time issue but more to do with fixing a technical glitch. The news is no longer feeding to the F7s website.

On the 'to do list' its in the top 10.

Coby has been trying to fix it. Furrycat might be able to help out there as well.

Once it is all working again, I'll put out the word for someone to manage it.

Has anyone ever thought of publishing a book of the articles?

It'd not only be a good read but an interesting "time capsule" of the actual league season and the fans take on it?

Yes. I have a publisher friend and we once had a yarn about it. The interest was there but its a question of time. I reckon it will happen one day.

It's a good idea, however the articles would probably require some proof reading by an editor, corrections made etc to make it something truly marketable.

Not that that would be a problem, it would just add to the task at hand.

I think this idea is brilliant. Any money raised could (presumably) go towards the costs of publishing (of course) and any profits towards the running of LU.

How far back the book goes, (or how many articles per season), would have a big impact on the size, and thus cost. Part of me likes the idea of a season by season summary of F7s, but the other part prefers the opportunity to keep articles as fresh as possible, because some are timeless.

I think one book every 5 years would suffice. It keeps costs down and allows for a decent sized publication every edition, with only the absolute best being published.

What can I say, I'm an ideas man! :p

I was thinking it would be a great way to give back to the site as well as spread the word to the unconverted. By the response so far it looks as though there would be the support and perhaps resources to get it off the ground. It'd be a nice way to mark the centenary year as well.
