He had little choice but to admit his own trolling tweet against a public person that he didn't know... Like Dawson before him, he had the urge to go looking for the attention first when the shoe was on the other foot, and only thought it all through later.
"It is an experience that has highlighted the hurtful nature of unthinking comments and even those which are sometimes put forward as ‘black humour’." Which quote is he referring to as the "black humour"? The implied recommendation of suicide or the suggestion of necrophilia? Poor Wobbie Fawaah.
So he was the equivalent of a guy calling him a f**kwit to his mate rather than that guy calling Robbie a f**kwit to his face.... Not really much of a difference if we are wanting to stop 'bullying'.
Farah looks like a massive tool on here, he did the right thing and apologized, but it still won't stop him looking like a huge hypocrite, which he is. Gotta love all the Internet nerds wanking themselves stupid over this. Sadly this is what the net has allowed, the type of socially inept ppl that rightfully got beat up at school take their frustrations out in an an anonymous way and make them feel better about themselves.
Just quoting this and bolding it to make sure this is saved to see how big of a douchebag this poster is.
True, but... it's not really different in terms of the style of tweets that Farah thinks Julia should do more outlaw. He's looking as much of a dill as Dawson now.
Bullying doesn't not need to involve direct interaction with the person... For example, I can be talking to another poster and say loudly 'El Diablo is a little pissant bitch' as you walk past - and that is considered bullying even though I'm not directly interacting with you. Given the Twitter's ability to search when names are being used, it is very likely that one of Guillard's staff had seen the post, etc.
