At the time of my post it was 4/250 odd with 2 recognised batsmen in, 1 in the shed and a long tail. And with a new pill up our sleeves. That is on top in the real world.

Id say India are on top IMO.

Its a fine line, a wicket or two before stumps sways it our way. Plus we haven't batted, we could get 600 at 4.5 per over

As I said they were 4/250 when I posted. Would you like me to go back and edit my post based on the fact that since then they've scored 50 more runs after just dismissing the player who scored the bulk of their runs and say India are on top?

Maybe I will edit the post everytime there is a swing in play. India are on top. Australia are on top. India are on top. Billy f**king Bowden is on top.

Its not so much that India have played wellwell they have. You can't control that but we've been awful on top of it so its a disappointing day. Marsh in the field, starcs pies, etc.

It's not so much the scoreline it's the rubbish we have bowled for the most part. Johnson bar the odd ball here or there has been rubbish and Starc has been terrible. Lyon hasn't bowled badly on a first day pitch offering him nothing. Haze has easily been our best and Watson has been tidy. it's an absolute belter but we have bowled quite poorly and dropped two easy catches.
