Every time I hear Fitzy speak I like him more.
In this presser he gave a really good explanation of the team development when asked about the semi final record. Made sense of it for everyone. I guess the message there is patience.

I didn't watch the presser last night but when I turned in I was thinking about what would be said and I got annoyed thinking that some clown would roll out the old "monkey on the back" thing. Well one lemon did and the way Fitz simply ignored it was a thing of beauty. I was hoping if it happened he'd arc up and say there was no monkey but his way was way better.

Good performance. The game was refereed totally different to any other game in the regular season and that combined with last weeks bashing began to show in that second half.

klein is a cheat, a couple of very clear cowboys knock on’s he called backwards and there was definitely a couple more 6 agains or penalties we earned which he just refused to blow.. yeah we got 3 penalties and 6 again, but none of them were subjective calls. They were all black and white where he didn’t have a choice but to blow them.

Going to need to play like our first half for the entire 80 minutes next week to even get close to the panthers, but hey at least we get a shot.

I thought Klein was good. Made a great call for the penalty try. That showed game awareness. The sway backed, fat gutted, cupcake eating Cutlet would have said Deardon would get there first. Most others would have I reckon.

I also think those 50/50s you are singling out Craig were reciprocated. There's one thing most of us hate and that's the old Storm walking forwards to gain ground in the PTB. I think we learnt from last week and did that quite a few times. Kennedy did one in the first half of about 2 metres. Toby was at it all night. Kaufusi as well. We got away with a lot of offside play with our tryline defence too.

In 80 minutes correct me if I’m wrong.

No player was penalised for being offside or for hitting someone high ?

None that I know of. It was a free for all. Both ways.

Could be different today though if Cutlet interferes from the bunker telling Atkins all the wrong things.

Kafusi has dropped back off again

5 hit ups in 31 min
Last week 7 hits in 41 min

Iv always seen potential but starting to think we maybe letting him and Williams go and hitting the market.

Well last night he only played 34 minutes. 22min stint and 12 minute stint. Cows had the ball for half his first stint and most of his second. he made 17 tackles in that 34 minutes.

His average metres were 10 per hit up and he ran just as hard, same as always. He had an offload.

I think there was some preservation going on.

Sometimes, even though I love a stat, they don't tell a story.

The offload was crucial for building momentum in the set for the second try. They don't get into range without it.

We need more from him because has has quality.

Always a great read the game day, not being an smarty, but it was an enjoyable game at Clover Moore Park. Honestly, the first second half try, I did eye roll at a possible demise, but the body language of the team was tired but never defeated.
Congrats to the organisation for a solid effort but fugg City Rail - look forward to what may rise or fall next week.

I didn’t even look at the cost of the beers but no glasses and didn’t want to know. It is highway robbery, but currently about the eating burgers off the BBQ - you’ve got to enjoy life sometimes.

Yea I get that but I want our starting middles to do more. The opening 10 sets (5 offence 5 defence) he had 4 tackles 1 miss and 1 hit up.
Our backs did most of the work as per game plan but I want him demanding the ball more
