Its about as realistic as rolling his eyes back and watching Hodor grow some balls all of a sudden.

It's about sticking to a set of rules they came up with. Dragons are real, yeah cool. Alchemists have very deadly fire magic, fair enough. But it has been established that a young girl can't wield a battle axe like that, especially without training, and especially not causing that damage.

Bronn beats us over the head that fighting dirty is the real way to fight, Jaime learns that this season, Brienne and the Hound had a vicious and dirty fight just before this abomination. The Hound got stabbed by Arya and slapped her away because she is insignificant. There aren't any super powers in this show, up until she decides to cut a skeleton in half on the upswing.

It's not about realism, because no TV show does that, it is about sticking to the rules of that shows universe.

No there's something that fights skeletons exactly like that, I think it's an older one...omg it's going to do my head in.

I get where you're coming from, but is your issue with the fact she wielded a battle ax awkwardly (coz she did look awkward doing it) or that she was able to cut a potentially thousand year old skeleton in half?
