It's starting to look that way. Apart from RCG, DWZ is probably a shoe-in for NZ with Roger out. Fish might retain his spot, he hasn't done much wrong. That might be about it.

On form RCG shouldn't even figure in selection discussions for the Kangaroos.

He needs a good holiday, a strong off season to get his head right and hopefully come back bigger and better than every in 2019. He needs to step up next season and perform at the same level as the elite front rowers in this competition, something in my opinion he has not yet achieved despite his selection for NSW & Australia.

Getting his jaw broken in what was adjudged a legal tackle, and indeed the club's own GM suggesting it was his own fault, has necessitated an urgent reappraisal of the way he takes the ball up. That doesn't seem to have happened so far, but will have to over the off-season if he's to in any way maintain the status he has achieved in the game.

Am watching. The 1990 side was far from disgraced. They managed to miss the Alexander try. Also, unless I'm mistaken, Rex Mossop's last game as a caller.

I’m over all this Cleary stuff.
Sick of reading about The Goody 2 Shoes family every week...They should have their own reality tv show.

I've watched the game through 2018 goggles and thought the same thing! Definitely a try. Can't blame MG for going off the way he did.

In the first few minutes of the game though, 2018 rules would've had an impact:

- Carter's high tackle (2nd tackle in) would've been pulled up.

- Lazarus kicks a 40:20 which would've given them the ball.

- Brandy kicking the ball dead would've given the Raiders a 7-tackle set.
