I was eventually going to mention that sometime but didn't want to jinx everything. also this year every week tigers have won we have won, every week they have lost we have lost.

This week we wear the away but Tigers lost. Looks like a 50/50 game.

Manly are falling apart
When they put 50 on Eels earlier in the year it gave the impression they were a decent team.

Although beating Eels didnt mean much. Letting Eels go and grab their first win of the season shows how shit they have become though.

A big problem for Manly is two season ending injuries to two of their first grade props (who had a full pre-season with the team) - Curtis Sironen and Kelepi Tanginoa both did their ACL in the same game against the Raiders (round 4). They haven't won a game since that happened.

Looks like the Storm are back.

They may be the only team from the early season favourites to really give 2018 a shake. Wouldn’t rule out the roosters but their forwards just don’t seem to be good enough for a title tilt.

That has to be one of the most unexpectedly bad performances I've seen from the Warriors. They were so impressive v the Dragons. Storm were good but most of those first half tries were appallingly soft.

Lack of depth. Take 5 or so out of every team this is what you get

Who'd they lose between this week and last week?

Harris didn't play.
I missed the team list but Vuna was omitted an hour before. Yet he played so someone must of gone down in warm up.
Isaac Luke did his knee after the Storm's 2nd try.

While off a short turnaround. The test will be how they play v Tigers next week.

Tohu Harris was the only change before the game from last week to this week. Hardly enough to warrant that sort of change in attitude.

Luke injured after Storm.were already terrorising them. No excuses for an almost identical roster to go from being the only team to defeat a red hot Dragons side to that.

Storm were ahead of the clock most of that first half. Warriors did improve the second half. But I think Storm eased up knowing the game was won. Most slaughterings like that ease up as the team gets near 40 or 50 points. But 50 is the magic number.

Theres no excuses for gutless efforts like that. Its not like Storm were at full strength in terrific form either. This should have been a tight contesr. Not a bloodbath

Remember that win against the Cows this year we all thought was so amazing........? really not looking like much now. The Cows are done and JT has to step down and get out of Morgan's way

It was amazing due to the team we had on the park moreso than the actual win

Morgan looked like his talent has deserted him tonight, as did Taumalolo. JT looked the more likely to create something. But they'll be tough next week, even in Bathurst. It's getting close to must win for them, not great this early on. I think they'll have a tough time getting focused after all the travel involved.

I was really hoping they would beat the Raiders to make next week easier for us.
Losing will definitely motivate them. However, as you say, travelling to Bathurst must be a massive pain for them. The team will presumably fly to Sydney, then bus it out to Bathurst. They will be feeling sore and stiff before the game even kicks off!

The injury gods hate us... Hopefully Mother Nature is kind and greets them with a lovely cold night too
