We have lost our head trainer Hayden Knowles to Newcastle. Anyone know how or why? We are the fittest side in the comp, sounds like an awful decision

Newcastle just happen to be one of the most unfit sides in the comp. You can only call it luck for so many seasons.

He's moving back to family.

It's a decision that Panthers couldn't compete with. Unless of course Newcastle could be physically bought to the foot of the mountains.

Knowles has been here for a long time he has served us well its a shame to lose him but our performance unit is a lot more than just him, no doubt he will be replaced internally.

Exactly. The foundations are well set. Support staffs change all the time. Knowles I believe arrived during Hook's tenue.

We will be fine.

Most support staffs read from a similar hymn book.

Not sure where the right place is for this opinion but it is kind of surreal when there is dissension in the fan camp when we have won more regular season games in our history during 2021 than every before. Last season longest winning streak in our history. Five finals appearances in our last six seasons and yet if you read some of the narrative on here you would think we were a basket case. It is a shame in some respect some on here we’re not around in the lesser seasons where we had no finals appearances, won only a handful of regular season games and for the most part we’re awful almost all of the time. The other night I think I heard Michael Ennis refer to us as a powerhouse. When the f**k have we ever been considered a powerhouse in our entire history. Go figure that and reflect when we complain about who is in or out this week going into another semi finals appearance when who knows we could even be minor premiers again. Just sometimes there needs to be some perspective put on things and not this sense of entitlement.
