Tony Abbott's was again bringing children into the debate when questioned about gay marriage. Someone tell this bigot that the debate is about a ceremony and the recognising of the partnership under the Marriage Act. Gay people can already adopt, have children through IVF, surrogate etc etc.

On Sky News he said "..we all have gay friends.." . Somehow I doubt that Tony.

Trust me. Tony has gay friends. He works along side a couple in the Libs.

You don't reckon there aren't conservative homosexuals that oppose gay marriage?

The people who say marriage is about love are as wrong as the ones who say it's about children. Marriage is about control.

As soon as the bill is passed there'll be hudreds of whiny little bitch gays harassing their alpha gay boyfriends to marry them. In a similar vein, plenty of heterosexual men have cause to support the abolishing of straight marriage, and its trappings (de facto legal status).

If the world really cares about equality it needs to support the development of a reliable chemical contraceptive for men. Because at the moment women have all the choice regarding conception and childbirth.

In the old days, the main batsman will try to stay on strike and not let the tail ender face too many balls.

Today, the tailenders faced alot of balls.

Is that a change in tactics/strategy in the current era?

if you show confidence in them, they will show confidence in themselves

So you know Tony Abbott well enough to know his circle of friends ?

No I don't. I do know that he gets along with his workmates though.
Do you know his circle of friends well enough to "somehow doubt" that there is a gay amongst them?

LOL, well statistically 2% of his work colleagues could be other than heterosexual.

I am pleased that he is civil to gay and lesbians however based on his comments over the past 7 days, I very much doubt that they have a "friendship".

Well, not entirely. I preferred a stimulus package that helped employers directly in maintaining and better still increasing their workforce. An abolishment or at least a moratorium of payroll tax would be a good start.

Payroll tax is a state tax

Oh what utter rubbish. 10 seconds on Google shows that the basic Internode NBN plan is $50/month, which is $10 less than their basic ADSL bundle plan. For the 300G plan it's $30 cheaper a month than the same ADSL plan.

You're the one who's bullshitting. Goes with the territory for NBN haters. You'd probably have us back using tin cans and a f**king piece of string.
