He should be suspended
But knowing the spineless judiciary, he'll probably get off

I disagree, Gibbs seemed intentional. A mind snap.
If he gets charged, then we should see Slater charged every game, don't think it deserves more than a grade 1 "be careful" warning.
Hannant should get an Oscar, him and Lockyer deserve each other, it was an accident and he went for a cheap penalty, very surprised at his action and the video ref , looked like something that happens in a 100 tackles.
I disagree, Hayne will get off.
Gibbs flopped onto Burt's back whereas Hayne was taking evasive action.
Remember you can not disappear.
Bubbles
Gibbs hit was late after Burt had already scored, Hayne was sliding in the stop a try being scored, his thigh brushed the side of goodwins head.
Grade 1, early plea, 87 carryover points.
no. im pretty sure you cant lead with your lower legs at all. whether you hit the ball or not... you will be penalised.he can aim his legs at the ball, that is all.
yup... you just proved my above point. leading with your lower legs isnt allowed. whether you get the ball or not.If he throws the leg in before he has hold of the player then it is tripping, irregardless of whether that player falls or not, which is straight to the showers and have a few weeks.
To slide in legs first was knocked on the head when Slater tried it last year, you remember when he nailed Stewart with his boot studs?\
Its a dog act.
thats where i have the problem... the whole reason this is a big deal is because contact was made with young bryson's head.As I said before and I will say it again, you have arms, shoulders and a torso, you are entitled to throw then at anywhere on the opposing players body so long as it is below the neckline.
I just watched it on Foxsportsnews, and no. Goodwin grounded the ball and Hayne delibratly AFTER the ball was placed dived at him with his knees. Exactly the same as Gibbs. This guys GF dream is over. Unless the NRL has a word to the Judiciary that he is next years poster boy and let him off.
So NRL.com is saying a grade 1 would avoid suspension (no carryover points). Does anyone know if Gibbs was grade 2 or 3? I know he got an extra week for contesting the charge.
